How To Make A Picture In Photoshop The Size You Want .

How to print a wallet size pictures in adobe photoshop?? and what kind of paper should i used to print a pic.?

Wallet size is 2 x 3 inches.

Open your photo your in Photoshop.

Image > Image Size

Set the image size to just large enough to crop a full 2x3 selection from it.

Select the rectangular marquee tool, set the size to 'Fixed Size' and set the dimensions to '2x3'.

Next, click on your photo to set the marquee on the image and move it around to select the 'crop' that you want.

Press 'Ctrl + c' to copy the marquee selection to the clipboard.

Press 'Ctrl + n' to enter a name for the new image.

Press 'Ctrl + v' to paste it into the new image background.

You can save the image as a jpeg, png, or file type of your choice at this point if you wish.

Press Ctrl + a to select 'all' of your wallet sized image.

Press Ctrl + c to copy it to the clipboard

Select File > New and set the size to 8.25 x 10.25 (avoids the 'cropping' warning in PS if you set it to 8.5 x 11) It will still print fine.

Press 'Ctrl + v' to paste in one wallet sized print.

Layer > Duplicate Layer. This adds a second wallet to the image background

Use the Move tool to position the second wallet appropriately. Leave just a bit of the white background showing between the two. This will help when cutting the wallets out later.

Repeat adding a layer and moving the image 7 more times. This will give you 9 wallets in a grid. Leave just a bit of the white background between all rows and columns of wallets.

When you are satisfied with the layout of all nine photos, press Layer > Flatten Image.

Add your choice of Ink Jet Photo paper to your printer and print the page. Personally, I prefer HP Photo paper or Kodak Photo Paper. Some of the cheaper brands just don't measure up.

Do a 'File Save As' if you want to be able to reprint the wallets again at a later date.

How can I resize a picture to 700k on photoshop?

First, you need to make the image the correct size you want it to be displayed at on the web site. Open your image, click Image > Image Size > enter the width or height you require in pixels.

Now click File > Save for Web & Devices. If it's a photo, click on the Optimised tab, and select JPEG from the Preset drop down. In the bottom left corner of the picture frame, you will see the size Photoshop will convert the image to. If it's 700K or less, that's fine. If not, click the Quality slider and reduce the quality until the image is less than 700k. Click Save.

Obviously, the more you have to reduce it's quality, the worse the image will look.

If you are saving a graphic, you could save it as a GIF, using the preset drop down. You can reduce the size of the GIF by reducing the number of colours.

I have to make a 2x1 meter big picture in Photoshop, but my computer is too slow. What should I do?

What exactly are you trying to make?Computers do not actually store the image in meters (or centimeters, millimeters or inches), but in pixels.[1] The physical size is only metadata that is sent along with the image to the printer, so it knows how large you want the image printed.[2]I see a few possibilities for you:Create the image in a lower resolution and scale it up when you send it to the printer. This will of course mean image quality degradation, but since you are printing rather large, this image might be meant to be viewed from a distance, in which case the degradation will not be visible. In fact, if you have ever looked closely at advertisement posters, they frequently use dots that are several millimeters in diameter, because they are only supposed to be viewed from afar. The second option is strictly speaking not answering your question since you specified Photoshop, but an alternative is to use a vector graphics editor instead, since vector images can be scaled an infinite amount without losing quality.Use another computer or be more patient when editing the image.Footnotes[1] Photoshop image size and resolution[2] Quick Tip: How to Change the Pixels Per Inch of An Image in Photoshop

I want to create a picture in PhotoShop and have it printed on a large canvas. What size should the PhotoShop working space be?

You said you are printing on a large canvas.. Is this a specific pre-made object that you can measure? If so, measure and figure out the demimsions in inches. Plug those numbers into your document size dialogue box and set the DPI resolution to 300. That's typical print resolution. If there's not an actual canvas you have pre-made and you just want a printer to print something for you and mount it on foam core then I would contact them beforehand and ask what the largest size is that they can print on a digital printer. If you are only printing one large-format design it will be cheaper for you if the printer prints it digitally instead of on a 4 color press. There are usually more size restrictions for a digital press though. So I could call some different printers and ask about that before you start designing.

How do you overlap 2 pictures in Photoshop?

Open your first image using File > Open.Open a second image in the same way, then select all (CTRL+A), then copy it (CTRL+C)Go back to your first image, and paste the copied image (CTRL+V) over the first image. Now you have two images on two layers. The top layer will obscure the layer below.Change the canvas size using Image > Canvas size, to make it big enough to create your collage. Increase the width or height, or both if necessary. Now use the move tool in the tool box to click and drag the first image into the position you want.  You can move the other image in the same way. You can resize or rotate the images using the Free Transform (CTRL+T) - make sure you have the correct layer selected before you press it. When the handles appear around the image, click and drag them to resize or rotate. If you want, you can then add a new background layer, underneath the two existing image layers, using the "new layer" icon in the layers palette, then fill that new background layer with colour (using Edit > Fill).Layers can be rearranged in the layers palette by clicking and dragging them up or down.Finish with the crop tool if necessary to trim it to the desired size.

How do I create an A2 size file in Photoshop CS6 and resize the picture to the A2 size?

The numbers and method depends on the required resolution for your purpose.I guess you have some simple photo, taken by an ordinary camera, and now want it scaled to a poster print ? Ask your printer about the screening resolution of the output. If it’s for a simple blow-up as a banner for inside or outside promotion or decoration, the resolution can be as low as 30 to 60 dpi. If it’s going to be a fine-art photographic print which will be viewed from a short distance (like a photo in your room), then the resolution needs to be something between 200 to 400 dpi.You can open your picture in Photoshop, and check/set the numbers in the Image Size command under the Image menu. An A2 size is 420 x 594 mm. In the example below you can see how it would work for an image at such a high (400 dpi) resolution:If you look carefully, you can see I started out with an image that was too small for this purpose to begin with (only 1,11 MB). So at 400 dpi, this enlargement will absolutely result in blurry pixels !! The scaling factor is too much, there are not enough pixels in the picture to remain detailed at that size for that purpose. But the example below at 60 dpi is technically very well possible:So the more pixels your picture has to begin with, the more demanding purposes (larger sizes and a higher dpi) you can achieve with it. Your mileage will vary…
