Should you be lifting heavy things while pregnant?

I am 4 weeks prego n at work i have to tranafer individuals from a wheelchair. there is one that is very heavy. i asked my ob n he said ill be ok it wont hurt the baby but i could have sworn you shoulsdnt lift heavy things while preggo. I am just worried bc i had an ectopic pregnancy in may.

Sore muscles after weight lifting?

I started weight lifting a couple of months ago to help my weight loss but then stopped because I got lazy (...at least I'm telling the truth).

Anyway, I want to start up again but I'm worried about sore muscles. In the past, my arms were so sore I couldn't even wash my hair with my head bowed down, and my legs were so sore it took me almost 5 minutes to walk up one flight of stairs!

I understand the 'no pain no gain' thing, and I don't mind some soreness, but I don't want it to interfere with my life. I figured I would start with just 5 lbs weights (not too light but not too heavy for me). Is this a good number to start with?

Is there any way to help alleviate sore muscles, make them a little more manageable? Oh, and should you do cardio before or after weight lifting?

How to lift your butt?

so my butts not really little its actually pretty big but its flat in the middle but at the bottom its round and i would like to know what exercises to do to lift it and make it more round every where not just at the bottom

Is my cheerleading coach too Strict???????

I'm 13,i'm a middle school cheerleader.And my coach made us run around the track for 2 hours then we had a hard core workout for 2 hours as in lifting 50 pound weights,push-ups,sit-ups,and squats. Then we had to run again for 1 hour and 30 minutes then we did cheers and then did our dance. We are cheerleading for the middle school football should i quiet i'm not haveing fun working out.....please tell me if she is doing her job or is she doing her job? And we are on fall break this whole week and we have to do the samething everday this week.
