I have a maytag stove the burners are working along with broil but the oven is not working what could it be?
My stove is a mgr5775qds gas model the burners and the broil is working fine however the oven and the clean setting is not working at all? what could the problem be?

press the bake button it should come on at 350 degrees then bump up or down the temp by using the up and down arrows ..........did this come with an instruction book ?? google the model number and you can get one you can read / print on line or call the maytag people and have them send one ....so you can know how to use everything ,,,,like convection oven bake ,,,,,self cleaning ....time back ( my favorite ) good luck and happy baking~!!

What does the owners manual say? If it says you're supposed to hit cancel and that doesn't work, then it's broken and you need to get it fixed.
Maytag gas oven tripping breaker?
I would say that this being a gas oven..it does not need a dedicated breaker for the only electrical is to run the timers/clocks/and digital read outs..which take no more power than a common clock or so...There must be a short in the actual wiring on the stove..simply plug something else electrical into the sockets and see what happens here....The set up you have is a common 110 circuit for it does not need to run elements etc....You may be pulling only 3 or 4 amps most off of this oven..it wouldnt be enough to overload a circuit..it is an internal oven problem..
Maytag performa range. I can light the top burners but the oven does not heat. What's wrong?
first check to see if the power cord is plugged in, it will look like a standard 110v plug, this stove should be an Electronic light type, [ there should be a snapping sound when the burner is turned on if not raise the top lid[ cover that is around burners] look for a little tube next to the burner, its a pilot light, hold a match over it, if it lights there will be a small flame, this lights the burners when you turn the knob on, if so look for the same in the oven, [bottom of the oven]
Digital oven display says CAL, won't turn on?
Go to the panel box and turn the breaker to the oven off for 10 seconds, and turn it back on. You might press and hold the bake button until another error code shows...Then press clear. this could take 3/5 minutes sometimes.
