How do I root an Android 4.4.2?

I recommend using Framaroot (LINK :[ROOT] Framaroot, a one-click apk to root some devices ) . This app is capable of rooting many devices across various Android Versions. (Just try Different versions of this app to see which might work for you.)Best Thing about this app isIt can root without a PC.If it can root, it roots it completely and doesn’t root partially like some others do.As it is an app , if it roots good for you. If it doesn’t there shouldn’t be any kind of harm caused to the phone like soft brick or anything.ITS FREE!

What is the easiest way to root my Android phone (KitKat 4.4.4)?

ItFirst, as a rule of thumb on rooting, and contrary to popular belief, not all Android devices can be rooted, even devices running older versions of Android such as 4.4.4 KitKat. Also, rooting is often times device-specific, meaning that various manufacturers and models can require specific rooting strategies. The most efficient way to find a viable root method for your particular Android device is to visit XDA-Developers Android Forums and use the device search option to find your model number. There you can find any verified and tested strategies for your model, posted by Android developers, members and enthusiasts alike. If your XDA search doesn't yield any fruitful results, your next best option with Android 4.4.4 KitKat is to try one of the popular and widely-used one-click root methods, such as KingRoot, RootGenius, KingoRoot, BaiduRoot, iRoot, etc. These one click applications are available in Android APKs, which can be installed and executed right from your Android device, and in PC/Mac compatible versions, which can be installed on your computer and used to perform a tethered root. Also, these one-click methods are extremely effective in rooting older Android versions like Android 5.x.x Lollipop and Android 4.4.x KitKat. As always, before trying any root strategy, make a backup of all important files and data on your device in case something goes wrong. Although these rooting tools have been thoroughly tested on thousands of Android devices, there is always an inherent risk of damage anytime you attempt to modify, alter or change the Android core filesystem, so do your homework, search at XDA, and find a root strategy which best suits your particular Android device. Good luck.

How can I upgrade android 4.4.2 to 5.0.1?

I believe upgrading an android device is mostly a device dependent tasks, hence it depends on the device and its operating system!Typically, each device has a built-in file management system that normally is accessible to the owner.. Where one can find a directory of whatever is loaded including some utilities..Some utilities are limited and do not include an automatic upgrade option after the downloading of an application, which must be an APK apps or extension to be recognized by the OS..What I did in the past was to download a utility program that included an Android version auto update option.. After downloading the new android version file, I pointed the utility program to the download folder and highlighted which apps to run..that’s it! Whatever configurations was in the device was left intact by the version upgrade..
