How To Send Roms From Computer To Iphone

Where to find a pokemon emerald ROM for iphone emulator?

You probably already have a working one. The thing thats messing you up is that gameboy4iphone is a GB and GBC emulator. Since Emerald is a GBA rom, you would need the GBA emulator gpSPhone from Cydia or Icy or wherever you download from.

But just in case your ROM is messed up, heres what you can do. Go into Cydia and add this source:
http://gba.iromrepo.com

Then download whatever ROMs you want.

If you use SSH to install your ROMs, download it here: http://www.doperoms.com/files/roms/gameboy_advance_gba/Pokemon+Emerald+-+GBA.zip/124713/Pokemon+Emerald+.zip
Unzip it and place it in var/mobile/media/ROMs/GBA

I know the website looks like crap, but its very dependable, provided you don't click on any ads.

And there you go, enjoy your game!

How to delete roms from my phone?

I have the app Nostalgia NES emulator, and have accidentally downloaded a few roms that I didn't want. It's there any way to delete these roms? I have an HTC One, if that matters.

What is the difference between RAM and ROM in a phone?

This is normally easy to answer, but you added (on the phone). There is no true read only memory (ROM) on a phone.True ROM is memory you can't alter at all. EEPROMs are a form of ROM.What we have in phones is closer to EEPROM, which is the technology used for BIOS in PCs. EEPROMs can be re-written a limited number of times and require special procedures. As you know, you can "flash" a BIOS and you can flash a phone.But... That is still not true. What we have in phones is flash storage, which is a form of NVRAM, of which a portion is set by software as read only.NVRAM is nonvolatile random access memory. It is essentially RAM that acts as ROM.That is why updating your phone's software reduces its internal storage. The new software tells the phone to make more storage designated for system use. You can't manipulate the read only part of your phone using end user tools, but it is possible using developer tools. This makes 3rd party builds of phone software with clutter removed possible. In addition to flash storage, which is incorrectly referred to as ROM, RAM is the temporary memory used by phone to operate. After you do a full power down, data in RAM usually will be lost. What makes this more complicated is that merely placing phone into standby mode does not clear RAM. Then there is the matter of hibernation, which stores data that was in RAM onto flash storage and survives the power down cycle by restoring it back into RAM.

How do you transfer pictures from an iPhone to a CD?

Maybe you can first transfer pictures from an iPhone to pc, then move them to a CD. First connect iPhone to computer via usb cable. Here you need a pro iOS Assistant tool. It helps you get access to all pictures and transfer them to computer directly. After that, use a CD burner to help you burn them to a CD.

Roms not showing up in nds4ios?

Hi, I have a Jailbroken device and I wanted to try out the nds4ios emulator. I've tried three methods of getting roms. The first one was by downloading directly from a browser, but when the download finished and I opened with nds4ios, it would open the app image but then just black screen and would send me to the iPhone home screen. Then I tried file sharing from the PC, but when I tried to add a .nds file, It wouldn't let me. So finally I put the rom on my Dropbox account and tried syncing the rom from nds4ios. When it finished uploading on Dropbox, I went to nds4ios and I saw that it said "Downloading Pokemon Platinum", BUT at the end of the Download, the rom never showed up. I want to know if there's a way to solve these problems. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.1. Thanks.

Where can i find a gba emulator for iphone 2g?

the GBA emulator that you can get from Cydia is called gpSPhone. I have it and it works well. It's fun to have but IMO it's more fun to play games that were meant to be played with a touchscreen.

You need to go to Cydia, Manage, Sources, Edit, Add:
http://Cydia.imodzone.net/
Then after the packages from that source are loaded you can search for and then install gpSPhone.

I use "Safari Download Manager" from the source:
http://sinfuliphonerepo.com/
to download the ROMs through the Safari app from a website such as DopeRoms, and then i use "iFile" (also from the sinful repo) to move it to:
/var /mobile /media /ROMs /GBA /
And then when you open the emulator the rom will show up there and you can play it.

If you don't want Safari Download Manager or iFile.... though you should get them.... you can download the ROMs on your computer and then SSH them with a computer program such as "iPhoneBrowser" and move them to that GBA folder.

Are apps installed and stored on RAM or ROM on Android phones?

The Apps that you download and install are first loaded in the RAM and then executed. Those Apps remain in the RAM after you are no longer using them and they have been shifted to background. The next time you use those apps they will be available for fast retrieval from RAM unless they have been removed. With continuous usage, the Apps that you use most frequently get placed on your RAM that is if you have enough RAM.ROM or Read Only Memory is more permanent by nature. What goes in there stays there. The ROM or read only memory forms a part of your internal storage and that part is not Accessible for users to write on and is thus referred to as Read Only Memory. The rest of your internal storage is where you store Apps and can store media files and other documents. This ROM part of your internal storage is where your Android operating system resides and also some preinstalled apps in this memory sections which cannot be deleted on users end either. This is the reason why you don’t get full internal memory as advertised on the Box, because a part of it has been used to house O.S. and preinstalled apps. The rest of the internal storage will be used for storing and downloading Apps which will store this.

N64 emulator for iPhone/iPod Touch 4G?

You should add the cydia source:
http://sinfuliphonerepo.com/
Then get Safari Download Manager and iFile.

Then you can download the .zip files from the website of your choice directly from your iPod's safari browser... doperoms.com has worked for my SNES and GBA emulators on my iPod Touch 3G.
Then, if you didn't download it to the correct location (with SDM you can save-as... instead of just save) you can move the .zip file to /var /mobile /media /ROMs /N64/
so that it will be visible once you open the emulator.

Or you can download the file on your computer and SSH using a program like iPhoneBrowser and move the file to that n64 folder.

Btw, on my iPod Touch 3G 32GB the N64 emultators couldn't run quickly enough.

What is the difference between RAM and ROM in Android?

There are three types of memories.Cache Memory.Random Access Memory or RAM.Read Only Memory or ROM.Cache Memory - Cache memory is very low. It is available in MBs. But they are very fast. Data can travel fastest in cache memory. But the cache memory is less available and it is temporary. It is used for keeping temporary information. Example - Suppose you opened the map and browsed some places. Then again after a few minutes, you opened it to see the same place. Now this time the loading would be quick because the map already stored some files on cache memory which is now the map is using.RAM - It is available more than Cache but less than ROM. It is available in GBs now. Here the speed is less than Cache. So it is used for managing and running applications games and the Operating System itself. It can store some important things but not for a long time. It is also temporary.ROM - It is available the most. The speed of ROM is less than cache or RAM, so here we actually keep our files. We can access the ROM whenever we want. We can save, edit and delete anything we want. ROM is permanent and we don’t have the fear that it will be deleted or something like that. ROM won’t delete or remove anything without you give it the command. But Cache and RAM does. So we keep our files here as it is safer than the other twos.
