well, i also tried it, although i use yahoo, and the idea behind it is that, yahoo.com allows you to send txt msg to mobile phone only when it is a number from the usa, i tried sending to UK number but it wont, waht abt trying to make call from your computer using yahoo, its interesting kind off, i called my friend in Australia and we spoke for more than 1hour, if was nice. or i think i should refer you to this sit, go to your google search engine and type in 'howstuffworks' it is an online site were you can ask so many questions, i min diff kind of question.

I had the same problem once, with the Philippines and both Smart and Globe. .. Try this. Put in a number that you "know" that you can send SMS to (I used my own cell number). It should then say "Supported". Then, replace with the Singtel number again, click Save&Close. Hope this works for you.
