I recently bought a new laptop from Dell with windows 8, but it had 2 graphics cards. One was the integrated graphics card (Intel HD 4000) and the other was an AMD Radeon HD 7730M, which is the one I want as default. I have a Lenovo G780 laptop with two graphics cards, an Intel HD Graphics 4000, and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M. The Intel Control Panel only allows me to set the Display to Built-In Display and the DirectX Diagnostic Tool also states that my graphics card is the Intel one, however the NVIDIA Control Panel allows me to change between Integrated Graphics and High-Performance NVIDIA Processor.
