Why do electrical overhead wires hang loosely instead of being stretched tightly?
Electrical wires are made up of copper which is a metal, metals conduct heat and electricity. The main reason they conduct heat and electricity is because they have additional electrons , when heat is applied it provides energy to these electrons, this additional energy makes them move out of their original shell thus expanding the atom structure. This overall expansion of the shells makes the entire wire expand to a certain extent. Similarly the exact opposite is the case when metal is cooled ie at night, the atoms receive less or no energy from the sun this makes them go back to a more stable state and thus contracting to it's initial or even to smaller size depending on the surrounding temperature. Because of this phenomena the wire undergoes expansion and contraction every single day, thus if the wires were tightly held in the long run the wires might get snapped because of the contraction it faced. Similar is the case in railway tracks where they place small gap between two joints of the track to allow it to expand during daytime. Hope this clears it.
Can I transfer files directly from an Android mobile to a pen drive?
Yes you can, install ES file explorer from google play, then need the following things :-OTG Cable ( or a OTG Pendrive).Pendrive.(On The Go) OTG pendrive dont need any otg cable. But if you have a normal pendrive then you need a OTG cable.Then insert the pendrive through the OTG cable to your android phone.To see whether its mounted go to Settings -> StorageThere you will find the pendrive attached.Go to ES file explorer , Select the file you want to copy and then paste it on the external storage (Pendrive). The file will be transfered.
Is it okay if I fold the laptop without shut down?
If you are using Windows OS then you can find something called Power options(You can find it by searching power options in start menu) and select Choose What Closing the Lid Does from the left pane and there will be 3 options Shut Down - which clearly shuts your laptop down. The best thing is you can vary these options according to your need that is when the device is charging then you can choose any of the above options, I'd prefer with sleep in this case. when it is not connected to power then you can choose hibernate(unless you want to use it after a few minutes).Coming to your question "folding it cover then will it harm my laptop?"
