Hunger Games Sponsor Gift Ideas

Hunger Games Sponsor Gift Ideas?

My friends birthday is coming up and we both love the hunger games. I decided that for her present I'm gunna make a huge box full of supplies that you would get from sponsors in the arena. For example, I got her a makeup thing and I'm gunna cover it in paper and write "Burn Medicine." I got her a few bottles of her favorite drink and am gunna label it "Sleep Syrup".

Do you have any ideas of what a tribute would get in the arena from a sponsor?

The Hunger Games... Cereal Box Name?

I LOVED THOSE BOOKS SOOO MUCH!!! cant wait for August and Mockingjay, the final one.

ideas:
- what if it had something to do with the fact that both Katniss and Peeta are foods. Katniss root and peeta bread...idk...
-something to do with the fact that its a cereal box name and all the District 12 people are starving...

names:
- Wild
- The Capitol
- Rebellion
- The Arena
- Starving
- Murderer
- Choosen
- The Lottery

gl hope this helps!

On the last few pages of The Hunger Games, why does Peeta get so upset with Katniss?

Peeta has been in love with Katniss and he thought that she was in love with him too. but then she tells him that she was only acting to get sponsors and stuff and she thought he was acting too. but he actually was in love with her. so he's upset

What are 10 objects to symbolize the hunger games?

1.bow and arrow
2.hunters jacket
3.mockingjay pin
3. backpack/sleeping bag (that's what she got first from the cornucopia)
4.trees (big part of the hunger games, the meadow and the arena)
5. coal (to represent how her dad died and her district)
6. bottle... (to represent haymitch?)
7. or something like fire ...you know like those fake fire things...(because katnis is "the girl on fire")
8.silver parachute (the sponsors gifts)
9. flowers...possibly primroses, or those flowers she laid around rue (i'm not sure what they were, i don't have the book with me)
10. something to represent peeta and katniss' "love"

Examples of desensitization and dehumanization in Hunger Games?

1. Parents let their children be entered into a mandatory lottery where they will have to fight to the death - and nobody complains about this?
2. Citizens of Panem are required to watch the tributes (including family and friends from their own districts) suffer violent deaths on TV.
3. Haymitch was so traumatized by his participation in the Games that he desensitizes himself from the pain by drinking alcohol.
4. The wealthy people who live in the Capitol wear extravagant clothes, eat rich foods, gamble and party during the Games. Who cares if kids from the Districts are killing each other? That's entertainment!
5. Katniss must shed all modesty and stand naked before the prep team so that they can dress her for the Games.
6. Tributes wear elaborate costumes during the opening ceremonies, desensitizing the viewers into thinking it's a spectacular sporting event instead of a fight to the death.
7. Wealthy sponsors donate gifts and equipment to their favorite tributes. Aren't the Games more interesting to watch if one tribute has an advantage over the others?
8. The Gamemakers are only concerned about audience reaction to the Games. They play up the whole Peeta/Katniss romance to increase viewship. During a previous Hunger Games tributes froze to death. The Gamemakes realized that was "too boring" to watch so from then on firewood is provided...so tributes can kill themselves off properly.

Hope this helps!
