I accidently waxed my skin off?
You should only wax the upper lip area once, if any excess hairs are on show use tweezers the area is too sensitive to wax more than once. Make sure to use afterwax after the treatment, do not interfear with the area until it is completely healed or it could cause more damage than what is already done. If needed be sure to use any soothing gels or creams, don't use any make up for 42 hours after treatment, don't use warm or hot water as it may interfear.
I accidently peeled off some skin from my lips. Help?
Its probably blistered because your messing with it just put chapstick or vaseline on (vaseline is thicker so you wont have to put it on as often) and make sure your hands are clean when you put it on to prevent infection. Of course it hurts but it happens to me all the time you should be fine though.I would wait a few days and if its still like that you should call a doctor.

I used to always get my eyebrows waxed and i stopped for about two months to grow them out. ialso started up a skin regimen to get rid of my acne from the derm's. the products may have made my skin thinner and more sensitive. i got my eyebrows waxed earlier and she iterally peeled off skin! i'm going to the bahamas in two days and was wondering if anyone knows any ways to stop the burning and make it heal faster please!
I accidentally peeled off the skin on a cold sore?
I had one cold sore on my upper lip and it dried up today. (Cold sores started about 2 days ago?) So I started peeling the skin around the lips because it was dry, dead skin and I accidentally peeled off the skin where the cold sore was. It burns to the touch and it's open, exposing a small area of flesh. I washed the area and applied this antibiotic ointment on it. My question is, how long will this take to completely heal? I have to go to some family reunion by July 2, (which gives me approximately 9 days) Will it heal by then? What are some ways I can speed up the healing process?
I accidentally peeled off my cold sore. What should I do?
I had gotten a cold sore a couple days ago. Today, the sore became loose, and one of its ends was coming off so I thought, "Maybe it's healed already?" and I peeled it off. Then I felt it sting and saw that my skin WASN'T healed, so now I'm thinking "Oh no! I just took it off and it's not completely healed!" What should i do? I'm afraid it would create a scar, or create more cold sores. The skin where the cold sore infected is still leaking the fluid, so I have to dab a tissue on it often, and I put carmex on it. What should I do?
HELP! Waxed upper lip and layer of skin came off! what do i do!?
I am on accutane and although i new my skin was drier on my body i didnt really notice it on my face and i had my upper lip waxed! A layer of skin came off, but not as much that my raw flesh is showing but its red and looks like im peeling from the sides. it only happened on one side of the upper lip. It's dreadful and i had to go to a conference today! What shall i do? i didn't bleed and its not raw flesh so it should not scab right? if it will can i prevent this? how do i get rid of it as soon as possible? and what do you think it will look like by monday? I accidentally peeled off my cold sore?
It's been there since Friday night and I've been putting Abreva on it. I was gently cleaning the area around it off before applying the medication and the edge of the scab came off. The skin is pink underneath. Will this spread the cold sore even more now? What should I do?
What if I accidentally caused my tattoo scab to peel off while it's still healing?
It will depend on the quality of ink your tattooist used and how far through the healing process you are. Ideally you shouldn't be pulling scabs off, but you should also remember that the tattoo itself has pierced several layers of skin and is embedded within you now, that is to say it really is near impossible to ‘peel' off a tattoo, newly healing or otherwise. You might find the colour slightly faded compared to the rest of the tattoo (though this is unlikely) and if so most reputable tattooists are happy to touch their work up for free. I wouldn't worry as really only time will tell. Most tattoos should heal within about 2-3 weeks. Hopefully this helps!
I often peel my lip skin. Yesterday my lip bleed, then some area of my lip turn to purple and dark red color. What should I do?
Use lip balm or gloss to end the lip peeling.Use cocoa butter or vitamin e to try and get the color to normalize. There's a chance that that's all she wrote and the color won't come back. OR will take forever to return.I did the same and I have a line that is lighter. Only after several years has it evened some.Good luck with that dear!
