My Yahoo account has stopped receiving emails. Can send but not receive! Help!?

I am receiving repeated emails from my own email account that appear to be a phishing attempt. Has my account been hacked? What do I do?
i Ignored the guy who claimed he hacked my account and after a while he stopped annoying me. The guy had numbers I use but not my password and he seemed to have my old history. I would suggest changing your password, adding new email address and phone number that has not been on the account. Aways update your iOS device but if you have a android you maybe fucked since androids have shit security. If a hacker gets into your account contact google and they will help you out!

Yahoo email account not receiving emails?
This is ridiculous!!! Why can't I get any response or help from Yahoo?!?!? All of the sudden my account is not receiving emails AT ALL. I have tested by having people send me emails and they do not show up in my in-box. The sender does not get an error message either. HOWEVER, when YAHOO sends me an UNHELPFUL "help" email it comes through. Yahoo is about to lose all my accounts because I am so frustrated with the lack of help/response.

I have same problem as above. someone was hacked my account 20 days before and he emailed to all of my contacts. i restored my account via text on my cell phone. i changed my password as well and i removed new account which was add by him. but after that i am not receiving any email. my email is going but i received last emails in mid of feb. please assist me as soon as possible

generally, not receiving email is an indication that your mailbox is at capacity. not sure which email service you are talking about (outlook, outlook express, even yahoo), but they all have a certain amount of memory allocated for you to store. once you've approached or exceeded that allocation, you can't receive messages anymore. one thing to do is delete any unwanted messages. messages that contain photos are very good at eating up space. not only that, deleting is only half of it. you need to empty the trash, deleted emails from the program because they consume space also. once you have deleted the unwanted messages AND removed them from the recycle bin, trash bin, whatever, then you will have sufficient storage space to receive new email. the only problem is what has been sent to you may not be received. if it was anything important from your buddies, they will have received a message saying their message to you was undeliverable.
