I Can Hear Voices In My Head .

I hear some voices in my head. What should I do?

You may not be as crazy as everyone else here seems to imply.  You may be highly creative, and are just mentally rehearsing a lot of options for your life.  that being said, you don't want your focusing on yourself and your inner thoughts to take over actually living.  If you want to seek help in dealing with this issue, by all means do so.  However, be aware that it is physically impossible for the brain to think two thoughts (including voices) at the same time.  Therefore, begin thinking about something, anything, that excites you.  Find your passion and focus on it over and over.  If you're not hearing anything of benefit, then every time you do, just like taking off a shirt you no longer like, turn your thoughts to a beautiful picture, the next creative project; music you love; friends and family and how you can help to make their lives better, whatever.

Is this normal? I hear voices in my head...?

May The Peace and blessings be upon you....

I would seek refuge in The Protector from Satan the outcast if i were you!
I would also listen to this for Protection. It will help if memorized, its a powerful prayer. Recite it when you wake up and before you go to sleep.....Insh'Allah this will help you, if The Lord is willing. May the protection of The Protector be showered upon you.

Why do I hear voices in my head?

Let me start by saying I don't think that I'm crazy and the voices don't ever tell me what to do. The best way I can describe it is that the voices are like in the background of my mind but I can hear them pretty clearly and understand words and phrases and stuff. But the weird thing is that these voices are not my voice like the one I hear when I think, they are not the same ones all the time as if they had their own personalities either they are just fleeting phrases and sentences and such. Also mainly when I'm like sleepy or alone in the quiet I can understand them more easily.

Its what I imagine someone would hear if their brains would occasionally and involuntarily and only briefly tune in to a radio station like a talk show or something and only hear a small segment of what they are saying.

LOL I know this must sound like the only explanation for this would be that I am a schizo but I'm not asking for answers calling me crazy things like that unless this indeed means i am crazy haha. I am curious of whether these could be symptoms of a mild condition or disorder
OR DOES THIS HAPPEN TO EVERYONE OR MORE COMMON THAN I THINK AT LEAST?

Hear voices in my head before sleeping?

I'm just wondering it this is reasonably normal, or very bad. I have been having a very very hard time sleeping. Sometimes I can't sleep at all the whole night. In the last 72 hours I slept maybe 5 hours total.

Anyways, I know that's not normal, but I'm trying to work on it. The question is, does anyone else hear voices when they're trying to fall asleep? It's not like I actually think someone in the room is talking (and it doesnt 'sound like that) it's more like the thoughts that are always going in my head belong to someone else now. Not someone talking to me, it's just kind of like I'm hearing bits from a movie or someone else's conversation. If I take an ativan before bed, that is when it ususally happens. I'm totally fine during the day (except for being damn tired from not sleeping well). Is this a normal hypnogogic hallucination? The voices don't talk to me or anything, they're just kind of random. I tried to write some down last night, but I was pretty out of it:

Jim go see Daddy. There you go (don't know anyone named Jim)
- someone suggests that
- Cainan? Cainan? or Conan? (someone trying to pronounce someone's name)
- have a theme? have a theme? have a theme?
- pertaining to your balls (haha dunno)
- that was my contestant first (Know it doesn't make sense)
- Jerome something
- hold your poultry (wtf?)
- danciest robots left in the fort left field your honour (getting crazier)
- also was kind of hearing a buch of songs that don't exist.
- also ton more phrases but I stopped writing them down because I was super out of it.

Again, it's not like I'm HEARING people say this. It's more like if I was imagining a movie I'd just watched in my head....except it's not from a movie...or from anything.

Why don't I hear voices in my head anymore?

I do not have a definitive answer for your question.Did you ever think that maybe your life has changed in good ways, and that you no longer need the voices? When you are down now (as opposed to earlier when you heard voices) maybe you have better ways to cope. When I heard voices, I found them terrifying. A therapist told me it was an invention of my subconscious as a way to feel more important because of rejections. When I took the voices as signals to look into and correct this, the voices tapered off in time.I think it’s dangerous to stay alone a lot—especially when you are having problems. Best to get out and talk to somebody—a friend, a relative, even a professional, if you can afford it and can find a good one. But all of these listeners should have these qualities: be compassionate and empathetic, non-judgmental, and be good listeners. In addition, I think that the professionals should be adding life-skill tools. Many people I’ve met are afraid to fully disclose hearing voices to a professional, as they feel they would be deemed crazy and forced into treatment. Being non-judgmental means that the listener fully accepts that your experiences are real for you, no matter how crazy they sound. No one has a right to define your experiences. They are your property.Ten per cent of the population hear voices, and fifty per cent hear them at some time during their lives. It’s not that unusual. If you cannot get out and talk to people, and can’t afford a professional, or your parents reject the idea, you might try 7Cups.com. They have trained listeners for free text chats and referrals to therapists.Good luck!

I am hearing voices in head before I fall asleep?

It's your subconcious going commando. I hear the the same kind of stuff sometimes when I'm just about to fall asleep. There's always this weird moment between sleep and wakefulness.
I promise you - you're not going schizophrenic. Some people are just more sensitive to their subconcious images. You honestly have control ALL the time. You just have to train your mind to blot out the really negative thoughts.
All you have to do is train your subconcious to blot out those nasty thoughts. Thoughts rarely "come out of the blue." Just tell your mind that it will only have safe, relaxing thoughts. Kittens. A quiet fishing pond. You have to do this regularly, and with belief that it will work.
Your subconcious mind is trying to sort out the things that you've seen that day, so paying attention to the pleasant things will really help.
It won't happen overnight, like I said you have to train your subconcious. Every night, just think of something POSITIVE that happened that day; no matter how trivial it might seem to your concious mind.
Don't be scared. You do not need to take anything. Just judging by your post, you are in control of your mind. Just enjoy your life. If you see something that's funny- laugh. You need to reprogram your subconscious. Be happy. Fear will just guarantee you will continue to have these distressing images.

The last thought you have before you go to sleep should be a happy one. Laugh at the stuff that would have p***ed you off before. The images that you see at night are bound to change, if your attitude towards your daily life change.

Hope this helps:)
