Sharp stinging pain in stomach/abdomen area?
So for a couple months now I've been having these really sharp pains towards the left of my belly-button. A few months ago, it was SOO awful, I couldn't sleep all night. I couldn't even move when I was laying down. If I tried to readjust my body, it would sting so bad and it feels like I'm getting shot. Lately these pains have been coming back. Not as bad as that one night, but enough for me to crouch over and catch my breath. It gets worse when I drink soda. What could this be? I'm 15 years old. This has been happening for months now. From 1-10, the pain has definitely shot up past 10. Right now, it's maybe at a 4 or 5.
I have a pain in my upper abdominal, it almost feels as if underneath my ribcage it is swollen or something.?
Gallstones - Symptoms The most common symptom of gallstones is pain in the stomach area or in the upper right part of the belly, under the ribs. The pain may: * Develop suddenly in the center of the upper belly (epigastric area) and spread to the right upper back or shoulder blade area. It is usually hard to get comfortable; moving around does not make the pain go away. * Prevent you from taking normal or deep breaths. * Last 15 minutes to 24 hours. Continuous pain for 1 to 5 hours is common. * Begin at night and be severe enough to wake you. * Occur after meals. Gallstone pain can cause vomiting, which may relieve some of the belly (abdominal) pain and pressure. Pain that occurs with a fever, nausea, and vomiting or loss of appetite may be a sign of inflammation or infection of the gallbladder (acute cholecystitis). Symptoms that may mean that a gallstone is blocking the common bile duct include: * Yellowing of the skin and the white part of the eyes (jaundice). * Dark urine. * Light-colored stools. * A fever and chills. ************* Hiatal Hernia - Symptoms A sliding hiatal hernia generally has no symptoms. If symptoms are present, they are usually caused by acid reflux, the flow of stomach acid into the esophagus, which may be the result of a weakened lower esophageal sphincter (LES). Symptoms of reflux include: * An uncomfortable feeling of burning, warmth, heat, or pain behind the breastbone. It may occur after eating, soon after lying down, or when bending forward. This group of symptoms is commonly known as heartburn. * A sour or bitter taste in the mouth. The backflow of stomach acid and juices into the esophagus (known as acid reflux) may be bad enough to cause this taste in your mouth. This often occurs along with the symptoms of heartburn, but in some cases it may be your only symptom. Other symptoms may include: * Fullness in the upper belly after a meal. * Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) or a sensation of a lump in the throat (globus sensation). * Regurgitation of stomach juices and nausea. * A hoarse voice.

Upper abdominal pain with light vaginal bleeding? What's up with my body y'all?
Could be a few things. If you have these pains unrelated to vaginal discharge, that is if this time was just a coincidence, it could be your gallbladder :( You could also have developed gastritis (irritated stomach lining) or an ulcer (esp with the Advil). If it usually does occur with your period or with in-between spotting you might have endometriosis. Bits of stray uterine lining may actually escape and adhere elsewhere with your abdominal cavity (but not in your thoracic cavity). If you are having this w/o bleeding by bet is on your gallbladder. Sorry you have been sick. Update: I forgot to mention that another Y!A person has been ill with what was a mysterious illness causing pain in the stomach area. I have upper back pain can it be my period? (Read)?
You have pinched muscles in your back causing that pain. Pinched muscles can press onto the nerves, as they leave the spine, going to the organs to cause problems. Pressure on the nerves to your ovaries will block the messages to and from the brain to cause you to miss your period. To get rid of these problems you have to free up your back muscles and here's how to do that: Back: (do from a sitting position) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. If you feel very tired you have tight neck muscles causing that. They press into the neck muscles to restrict the flow of blood leaving the head. That limits the fresh blood entering the head to results in a lowered oxygen level in the brain. There are three stages of lowered oxygen levels in the brain and they are: feeling very tired; getting dizzy or light headed; and passing out. To get rid of this problem you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that: Neck Release: Place your hands behind your head touching your fingers. Press into the back of your neck with them and hold the pressure on them. After 30 seconds slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended. Release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds. For both- for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Mid-Upper left back pain?
You probably need to try physical therapy or chiropractic sessions if you already have been seeing a massage therapist and are still having problems. If you are just having someone massage it who does not have training, try a massage therapist before worrying too much. However, you probably need stretching, which a physical therapist or chiropractor could do. If it doesn't resolve after a massage therapist sees you, see a doctor or chiropractor to get x-rays. You may get more out of physical therapy than chiropractic care, since it sounds more like a muscle and postural problem than an alignment problem.
