The system hardware clock isn’t easy to change - but there is a command called ‘hwclock’ in Linux to do it - so even with a Windows computer, you could boot Linux from a USB memory stick - run hwclock - then reboot to Windows.I know that some laptops have little computers in their batteries that record the charge/discharge cycles so that if you return a battery on warranty and you’ve not been following their requirements for that - then they won’t replace it (I saw that with a laptop I bought for my mother in law a few years ago).I suspect that hard drives and SSD drives may have similar internal logs in them.It used to be that the “Mac Address” of the internet connection couldn’t be changed - but I think it’s possible on most current hardware.But none of those things are universal to all computers - so I’d say that there is nothing that you can GUARANTEE cannot be changed manually.

Make sure both computers are on the network then get physical access to the computer with the folder you want shared on it and right click the folder and go to "Sharing and Security" and click "I understand the risk and want to share the folder anyway" and then chose to share the folder and allow network users to change folders if you wish (its optional) and then make sure the computer you are trying to access it from is logged on as an administrator. I have found that selecting the "Share subfolders" option doesnt work at times so if you are still getting that message you might want to go the the exact folder you want to share and enable sharing. As a moderator, how do I access the management functions of a Yahoo group?
The group's owner made me a moderator, but I cannot access any of the management functions in the Yahoo group. Are there "degrees" of management?
