Get braces with overbite, how to eat?
i got like a 5mil overbite and like when i try to put my teeth like normal theres a huge gap between my bottomteeth and topteeth in the back(molers?) so if i get braces with overbite ones how the hell will i eat? lol

What is a minor overbite minus 10???
An overbite means that the top front teeth are set over the front of the bottom front teeth. That is ideal. However, the minus 10 means that the front teeth sit 10 millimeters down. The bottom front teeth may touch the roof of the mouth behind the top front. What you don't want is an over jet or a cross bite. It is ideal for the top front teeth to be outside the bottom front. My daughter had a crossbite when she was 3. She had a pacifier and I decided it was time for it to go... I noticed that one top tooth was sitting inside the lower tooth (crossbite) so I let her keep the binky for a little longer and it corrected the x-bite. Pacifiers in the mouth for too long will cause the growth pattern of the teeth to buck out, then may result in the need for braces in the future.
With braces how long would it take to fix an overbite?
I have an overbite...&& it bugs the hell out of me lol;;also my bottom jaw is crooked it kinda tilts to the right,so is that a cross bite too? I really dont want it no more...so i wanna get braces...&& also i have some crooked teeth... tooth beside the top fornt left tooth is pushed in && is kinda behind my front tooth...&& the pointy one beside it is popped out && a little high up...&& i have a gap where a tooth came out...i want that closed...&& also my bottom teeth are crooked too...one is pushed in && the other one is twisted... and with braces how will they fix my overbite and crooked jaw? lol i really want a straight smile... Can braces fix overbite without elastics?
iv had braces for almost 2 years and my ortho hasnt mentioned elastics he just said yesterday that my next appointment hell be putting on a stronger wire to REALLY pull my top teeth down more. I have confidence in him but was just wondering is it possible. my teeth are PRETTY straight now thats why i have confidence in him ...but i still have an overbite.
Can you fix an overbite without tooth extraction?

If I have an overbite, will it even affect me later in life?
I have an overbite, a rather large one actually even though I've had my brace for over two years. Finally I just gave up with the brace and I'm glad I did - it feels so much nicer now that it's off, besides having a slight overbite doesn't mean anything, I don't think people care and neither should you. Be proud of your overbite, it makes you unique.
Overbite effect kissing?
i have a huge overbite. i used to suck my thumb for a while and it got to the piont where my bottom teeth are slightly angled inward and my upper teeth rest slighlty on my bottom lip, but its not like a mouse or anything, i want to know if this will affect french kissing? if i will end of biting the hell out of myboyfriend? and also if anyone has expierence with this and has any advice on how to kiss with an overbite if it does effect french kissing?
Does getting braces for over-bite hurt?
I have to get braces for my over-bite in a few weeks. Can anyone tell me what it's like? I think I have to get rubber-bands not rods, idk if that is good or bad? help!!! paranoid!!!!
