I Have Tmobile Jump. If I Want To Upgrade To Another Phone Do I Have To Put A Payment Down And Turn

A question about upgrading my phone with T-Mobile's JUMP!?

So basically I have an iPhone 5s with a cracked screen and probably some water damage. (LOL) I looked online and saw that in order for me to use my JUMP!, since my phone is damaged, I would first need to file a PHP claim (my deductible is $175) and pay the deductible before I could trade in my phone.

Now. So my remaining balance on my current phone is only about $75. So it makes more sense to just pay off my remaining balance and then use their "financing" to JUMP!/get another phone for $0.00 and start making my monthly payments as I normally would. (I am in the good/excellent credit tier)

So basically my question is just that. Is my assumption correct that this is how it would work? Rather than making a PHP claim and paying the insurance deductible of $175 to have my phone accepted as a trade using JUMP! for a new phone, can I just pay off my phones remaining balance of $75 and then use JUMP! to upgrade to get a new phone for free /cheep?

A detailed answer from someone very knowledgeable on the subject would be extremely appreciated.

Just in case it makes any difference in the situation, I'll note that I don't want to get another iPhone. Thinking about an Android device this time around.

Lastly, I'm not trying to be cheep. I just don't like when phone company's try to *pardon my French,* **** me in the *** dry.

If I pay for jump! by T-Mobile and I pay off my phone early instead of paying it off via a payment plan do I still have to turn the phone in when upgrading to my next phone?

No longer have jump available if paid off

T Mobile JUMP upgrading question?

Ok so let's say I buy an iPhone 5s today with the jump plan and out of no where poof the iphone 6 comes out. So obviously I pay at least 50% of the phone. When I turn in the iPhone 5s, in a flaw free not scratched condition , will the iphone 6 be sold to me at a discounted price? I mean I did just turn in my phone and I didn't pay like 328 for nothing. And also do you know how much credit will be given. Thanks!

T-Moble 2 year phone upgrade PLEASE HELP?

Two years ago at the begining of summer I purchased the Galaxy S3 from T-Moble. My account has 3 lines for 3 different people, and now two years have passed and I wish to purchase the new Galaxy S 5, or another phone with a two year contract. The two year contract deal used to be 200 $ but all i see is 660$ for the Galaxy S5 in 2 years of payment. Is this the only way to purchase phones now, with the "unlocked" version only?

T-Mobile Jump?

So I currently have the iPhone 5 16G (it works fine in every way and only has a cm long scratch.) and would like to get the iPhone 6 (64G) when its released. I've had my phone since July 2013, and started the Jump in January (I believe you only need 6 months before you can switch?) I was wondering, how does Jump work exactly? How does trading in my 5 for a 6 help me? And could I trade it in now and pre-order the 6? Thank you. :)
