I Keep Smelling Deodorant That Isn

Is putting deodorant on your feet safe?

Well I personally don't use bought deoderant as they contain aluminium and other substances which are linked to breast cancer. Plus, if you think about it, it can't be healthy for your underarm pores to be blocked to stop sweating (that's what they do) as your body sweats for a reason and this is stopping your body getting rid of toxins.
I use bicarb and water. Yes, it sounds ultra scabby, but, it truely and honestly works. It neutralises the acidic bacteria in your sweat which cause the BO smell so you will sweat as usual but without the smell.
You can sprinkle some bicarbonate of soda in your shoes and that will stop them smelling just as well as normal deoderant will.
My parents actually stopped me using normal deoderant and made me use this. I hated it at first but now I'm glad they told me.
(I'm 15)

Good deodorants that keeps your from sweating and smelling?

Secret Clinical Strength. Use before bed and it works while you sleep. I use that as well as a regular deodorant during the day. Mind you, I'm a waitress and I work 15 hours with no break running through a hot kitchen, leaning over customers to serve their food. I don't sweat or stink. I love the stuff!

Is deodorant enough, or do I need perfume as well to smell good?

Deodorant and cologne serve two entirely different purposes.Deodorant is used to keep your underarms moist and provide a scented barrier between your sweat and your clothing, and hopefully your and everyone else's nose.Antiperspirant is almost the same as deodorant except it is supposed to keep you from sweating, and in turn, keeping sweat from forming and hitting anyone's nose and your shirt. Both can be found with different scents, unscented, different varying degrees of protection, can be found in a spray or gel or solid form. Can be organic and natural, or synthetic and chemical.I personally don't use antiperspirant because it clumps up in my underarm hairs and become a real pain in the ass.Cologne isn't used to mask any odor, sweat or otherwise. It is used to present who you are, according to your mood, situation and emotional feeling. To me, it's an important part of my hygiene, up there with flossing and using underarm deodorant.Deodorant’s purpose is to keep you from smelling while cologne’s purpose is to make you smell. They are both different parts of your hygiene, providing different results, yet both equally important.Nobody will notice if you wear deodorant, until they notice you don't, which might garner you some insults.Nobody will notice if you don't wear cologne, until they notice you do, and that may be more pleasurable and gain you some compliments.Hope this helps and remember to always smell well!!

Women's deodorant that ISN'T antiperspirant?

I don't like using antiperspirants because of the aluminum, and the health food store brands just don't work for me. I'm currently using men's deodorant, and am tired of smelling like a guy.
.
I loved Crystal Clean deodorant (by Lady Speed Stick), but they don't carry it anymore, and I can't find it online either.
Do you know of a women's deodorant (without antiperspirant) that actually works?
Thank you! :-)

I keep smelling urine...Why would this be?

Do you smell it before you get to work? ..or all day? Do you smell it at night? Track down exactly where and when you smell it. Maybe a coworker? Maybe the smell of your laundry detergent or dryer sheets or house spray or candles etc.? Keep writing down where you were when you smelled it. (When I was a kid and said I smelled something bad..my mother would always say it was my "upper lip".) lol Maybe you have a nasal infection. Maybe there's mold in the walls at work (happens even in new offices) There might be something in your house or the office..like the kind of paint they used...or cleaning supplies. You might be allergic to what they use to clean the office. I used to do housekeeping at a bed and breakfast and I know that cleaning supplies will give you a headache. HEY !!! AMMONIA !!!!! It smells like urine and people clean with it. Ask your office manager to check with the cleaning people. Good Luck.

How do you keep yourself smelling fresh and clean?

For body smell, shower regularly and use deodorant. Also what helps for some people is rubbing a lemon/lime under your arms, let it dry and make sure there's no leftover pulp or anything on your skin then it should be fresh the rest of the day or maybe even two days.

For hair, just make sure you wash it. Washing your hair EVERY day isn't healthy for it, so every other day is good unless you have very oily hair. Also if you use hair products, make sure they smell good too.

For shoes, you can't exactly avoid your shoes smelling but if the smell is extremely noticeable then use Febreeze or Odorban or something like that. If your shoes would be fine in the washing machine you could do a gentle load.

For breath, brush your teeth in the morning and at night. Also brush your tongue. Your tongue is what holds 98% of the bad breath bacteria so you wanna get rid of that. Use mouthwash too if you want even more minty fresh-ness, but make sure it's alcohol free.

Also if you're not sure if a shirt is clean or not, smell the armpits of the shirt. If it smells then wash it or else the smell will stay on you and people will think you stink even though it's just the shirt. One last add-on is you can use perfume/cologne too, but make sure it's not too much and it's not over-powering. Just enough to smell faintly when you're closer to someone.

Hope this helps. :)

What kind of deodorant should I use? easy ten points!?

I'm 13 and, yes, like most people, I need to use deodorant. My body odor isn't very bad, you don't really notice it unless you are close to me after I play sports or come back from gym. I still am embarrassed about it and I want to get some deodorant. I've never even looked at a deodorant...bottle?

I just would like a nice smelling deodorant for kids-teens. I would appreciate it if the...bottle? was not huge and the scent was not very strong. I would just like a light scented, good smelly deodorant...bottle?

Brands? Names? Suggestion?

Easy ten points! :)

P.S. I keep on typing "...bottle?" because i don't know what people call those deodorant packet, bottle thingies. XD
