I Need A Good Soccer Workout/fitness Plan

I need a good soccer conditioning workout!?

stamina and speed, my brother is playin college soccer this fall at university of va and before he got there for preseason, the coach told all the incomin freshman to do this routine to be prepared.

Monday Wednesday Friday-Run 1 mile, Ten 80 yard sprints
Tuesday Thursday Saturday-Run 2 miles, Ten 80 yard sprints
After doing this workout do 5 sets of 25 situps and pushups everyday, Sunday is your day off.

The mile runs will definitely give you endurance while the sprints will build your legs and you will be much faster. Good Luck

Workout schedule for 15 year old playing soccer?

Most importantly you need to be working to become a better Soccer player each and every single day. If you think you’re “good enough” you’re wrong. Make a commitment to improve in some way every day and you will be on the road to Soccer success.

If you want to become better you should be looking to improve all areas of your game not just a select few: Technical Skill, Physical Fitness, Mental Toughness, and Tactical Understanding.

First of all you need to start training on your own - work to improve the basic ball skills, dribbling, shooting, passing, and ball control. Example: Dribble a ball around the house, practice your passing and shooting on a wall for 10 minutes a day.

Work to improve your fitness: strength, power, speed, acceleration, endurance, and flexibility. Example: every second day do 50 push ups, 100 squats, and 50 sit ups .... go for a run every morning, gradually increasing your speed each time.

Next you need to always give your best effort on the field. Remember you only have one chance to play that game so leave it all out there. Make a promise to yourself to be the hardest working player on the field, every time you step on the field.

You should also start watching professional Soccer at least 1 game per week, you can learn so much from pros. Don't just watch the ball, watch specific players and watch what they do both on and off the ball.

Does an Elliptical Machine good for soccer workouts?

The elliptical machine is good for a full body cardio workout. In general it is good, but not as good as actual running for building soccer stamina, but good trainers will tell you that you should vary your workout routine from time to time to avoid plateauing anyway, so using an elliptical machine - at least from time to time - is, in my opinion, a good thing.

What are good workout supplements for soccer players?

i have been reading online on what to take before a workout or before a game. I want to build muscle and have energy before a game. I was think of buying Animal Pak which is a multivitamin and then take Micronized Creatine to build muscle when work out.

Gym workout plan for women?

Im 17 year old girl and i want to start going to the gym. I have no idea what or how much to do there. I already have quite big leg muscles from soccer and my upper body is quite strong too thanks to pushups and different arm exercises with dumbbells and im afraid that i get even bigger. I d like to lose some weight and get a toned body. Im looking into working out 4 days a week (legday, chestday, arms day and backday) and remaining 3 days a week id do some cardio (35-45 minute jog). I want to start in september but im so clueless what to do. Is there any pages where you can choose a body which youd like to have and then theres a workout plan on how to get that body? :D PLEASE HELP ME how to start. My nutrition is good already, i eat a lot of vegetables and drink loads of water
