Can I return worn Nike running shoes to a Nike retail store?

You have to go by the policy for wherever you purchased them. You didn't purchase them online, so it's not clear why you're bothering to read their return policy. They'll sell different models at different prices, etc., depending on the conditions that come with them. It's simple -- just stick with the policy where you actually purchased them.

The retail store thing sounds like any reason within 30 days, and it's only beyond 30 days they have to be unworn and unwashed. Since it's a physical store, they probably have arrangements where they can clean and resell the shoes. Some running stores do that as well. On the other hand, the online operation is probably out of a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, where they can't readily process "used" shoes that get sent back to them. And they probably don't want to deal with all the extra shipping issues.

If you bought them from the retail store, you should be able to return them to the retail store per the policy on your receipt. And if you're going to have problems like this in the future, you should find a running specialty shop that can help you get fitted for shoes and has a good return policy. Many running stores know people need to try to exercise in things and have appropriate policies and pricing as a result. And they'll help make sure you have the right shoes in the first place.

Nike return policy sucks?

I am surprised that Walmart, Target or Costco would let you return any apparel after it been worn and washed. According to the Walmart website their policy is

"All apparel, shoes and accessories: 90 days with receipt; and merchandise must be unworn, with tickets attached and accompanied by the original pack list / invoice."

One company that does have a policy that would let you return any item is The Lands' End.

According to their website:

The Lands' End guarantee has always been an unconditional one. It reads: "If you’re not satisfied with any item, simply return it to us at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price."

I assume you still would have to pay postage, but I never tried to return any item to Lands' End so I do not know for sure.

Can I return a Nike product to store without original tag attached?

I recently bought a pair of flip flops but after getting home I realized that they were actually one size too big. I have the box, receipt, and tag, but the tag itself is no longer attached to the footwear. Would they still take it for exchange? I have everything just that tag is not attached.

What is the return policy for shoes at finish line?

I got these brand new nike shox and i wore them for less than 3 hours today so you can't tell i wore them. I just don't like them at all so can I return them with a receipt and put the stuffing back in the shoes so it looks like I didn't wear them?? Would I get full price back or what?

Can I return Nike soccer cleats after they have been torn?

I bought some Nike Hyper Venom Phantoms a couple months ago right when they came out. After using them for a couple months the left boot tore on the outside of the heel. I bought this online at soccer pro and I tried to ask them if I could return the boots to them but they wouldn't allow it. I am wondering if it is possible to return these directly to Nike, and if so, how should I do it.
