Which type of fun things can I do with kids this summer?

Summer may be a period to relax, but tell that to kids who are bouncing off the walls or shrieking "I'm bored" every five minutes. So begin making your summer bucket list today. I have some awesome ideas for things to do in summer with children, for example, Volunteer at a nature center, Plan a picnic at a nearby park - or in your lawn, Go canoeing at a neighborhood lake, Have a water balloon battle, Go biking on a trail, Visit a national park and earn a junior ranger badge and numerous more.

What are some fun sleepover ideas for kids?

Constant action which keeps the groups from forming up to negative consequences. We’ve had birthday sleepovers for 10–12 boys twice a year for about the last six years. They swim, play football, have nerf gun battles, and when it gets dark play something they call “Bloody wolf” which is really just one kid hiding and the other going out, finding the “wolf” and then running back to base before they’re caught. A couple of years ago we also figured out that the last thing to do is show a movie in the same room they’ll all sleep in and turn the lights down. Most of them fall asleep within a half hour.In between all the activities are pizza, some chips alternating with vegetables and dip. You might think they’d avoid the veggies but they demolished the broccoli last weekend. Breakfast the next morning is fruit and doughnuts.

Need some ideas for 7 year old sleepover?

My daughters 7th birthday party is this weekend and I have NO clue what I am gonna do with these kids... they range in age from 4 to 7... she is a really girly girl if that is any help... the normal makeover themes are not what I am looking for.... I need ideas for everything... crafts, food, fun anything you got... the next day at noon we are taking the girls to a bowling alley where her all out party is... so I dont wanna spend a million on the sleepover, yet I want it to be fun. HELP please!!!

I want to make a "slime pool" for a fun kids day. Any ideas on how to make large batches of slime?

An easy one to do is to mix water and cornstarch. The mixture has the property of allowing your hand through it if you put it in slowly, or to be hard and crumbly if you sock it. We used to make it and sell it during high school festivals and it was really popular. There is also a several other mixtures. There is a glue-based mixture which relies on a combination of Elmer's glue and borax, which is the standard recipe that makes "slime" that is really gooey. There is also a good mix based on borax and Polyvinyl alcohol which is the really slimy one. These all work, but the PVA alcohol slime is the best for being REALLY gooey, but a little more difficult to find and make. The glue slime is good, but a bit tricky to make sure proportions are correct. Do this OUTSIDE!!! I had a slime party and made it it baggies and kicked the kids all outside to really goop it up, and it was really fun. Make some test batches to make sure you have the recipe really down. Hope this all helps.

Do you have any inexpensive summer camp ideas for multiple kids?

Sure! Here are some fun ideas:Bicycle Games - Bicycles are widely used in different camp games. Using sidewalk chalk, draw a 4-inch wide line that stretches across a driveway or down the street. Have part of the line be straight, part be curvy, even include a figure eight. Using a timer, time the riders and challenge them to go as slow as they can without putting their foot down (or they start over). You can also add some water to this activity. Prepare some water balloons, water guns and sprinklers. Each kid creates their own “water station” and everyone takes turns riding through and getting wet.Water Sports - If you are hosting your summer camp near a little lake or river, there are dozens of water sports ideas for you. Sports like wakeboarding, tubing, and banana boating are safe, easy and can be experienced by everyone. These activities are the basics of water sports that will prepare campers for harder challenges. Water sports help campers to overcome their fears and get adapted to the open water. These activities are usually enjoyed by everyone.Evaluation - At the end of each day, ask campers to evaluate the activities and share their feedback. Create polls and open-ended questions and let them vote or text their own answer. They can use their mobile phones or any other device they have with them. The results will appear on the screen in real time for everybody to see. This way, you can discover which aspects need to be improved. Also, the anonymity of votes will let the campers be completely honest and share their complaints. It is great to take everybody’s opinions into consideration and to make the best out of the summer camp!

What are some fun ideas for a kid's horse camp?

1. Paint the horses' fur with finger paint.2. Do a little trail parcours with fun exercises like leading the horse once around a cavaletti while balancing on it, riding a slalom with an umbrella in one hand etc.3. Play horseball (with the reins attached to bitless halters, ideally)4. Make them tie the reins in a knot so the horse won't step in them, then leave them lying on the horse's neck and try to guide the horse with weight and legs only. (This works best if you lean forward a little and put your weight in the stirrups, not the saddle.)5. Do a 'clean your horse' competition.

I'm Babysitting tomorrow and I want to do something fun with my babysittiee. Any suggestions?

Try some crafty things. You don't need to spend any money, just dig around your house and find leftovers! Sequins, beads, yarn, Popsicle sticks, paper, crayons, markers, toilet paper rolls... the list is really endless. Tell the kids a story (or read them a short book) and have them make something that goes along with the story. You could even incorporate it into a trip to the library if you wanted. Just be sure to clean up afterwards... and have the kids help you -- they are young enough to actually enjoy it if you make it into a game.

Another fun (if somewhat messy) activity is to make popsicles. Make some Kool-Aid and fill up some small plastic cups about 1/3 of the way. Put popsicle sticks (clean ones LOL) in them and put in the freezer. You can also buy popsicle molds at Wal-Mart for like 88 cents.

What ideas might you have for budget friendly ($100 or less) home-based fun for 10 kids?

For 100 00 you could buy a pinata and a cheap broom stick use a bandana and tie it to a tree brsnch. Buy hotdog buns hot dogs baked beans and make a cake. Buy colored chalk and draw a hot scotts on the patio or drive. Get a twister game. Get a pin the tail to a donkey game. If you e a karookie machine use it. Get a good children's movie.
