i want to buy the chi or the solia on folica.com. people also mentioned how good the sedu revolution is. people also mentioned to me fhi and ghd and criolosis (sp? lol). i have a stupid conair one from walmart & it sucks. i have to go over the same strand of hair like 10 times & its still not pin straight. i need a hair straightener that would make & keep my hair pin straight all day. i need one that can also curl my hair or can make my hair wavy. can you put in order (1 being the best and the lower the number the worst it is) of which would do what i want? also im asian so i have asian hair haha. someone mentioned that they have straight hair but some of my ends curl out and some curl in. i dont like it :/ and the ends of my bangs curl. thats why i need a new straightener! Whats the best drug store flat iron brand?
It doesn't matter what brand they are but the best for your hair is ceramic. It's less damaging that other metal ones. The brand really doesn't make a difference. Read the reviews though if you want. If they don't have any on there look up the ones you want on walmarts website or a consumer report website. And it should have various heat settings too.
Which is hair straightner/flating iron is better?
Most def the wet to straight (#1),I use it everyday. And it has lasted longer than any other i have had. Make sure to use some kind of heat protectant though. i use got2be, crazy sleek. It is only 3 or 4 dollars, and it lasts forever.

yeah you could probably get good ones. I mean they're not used or anything, it's the same as buying one in any other store...although I have not seen flat irons there, but I guess if you saw one then go for it! also, you don't have to buy an extremely expensive one to get a good flat iron. conair ones work just as good as a CHI

Chi is a great brand... but if i were you, i would buy something a little less pricey... it might not be as great, but it will deff still work... i spent 25 bucks on my flat iron, and i love it... i got it from Sallys beauty supply. then if you lose, or break your curler, or flat iron, it wont be nearly as big of a deal.. because you didnt spend 100 dollars on it.
