I Need To Raise My Grade From An F To A C

I need help to raise my grade in math from a D to a C i a couple dayes?

try being really nice to your teacher and asking for extra credit or make up work as stated earlier. Find out what your teacher likes (cake, cookies...) and bring some to use for leverage. You will have to get good at math, so this will involve pretty much non-stop studying for the next couple of days. Because if the teacher does offer an extra credit assignment or a retest you will still have to do very well on it.

How to raise my grade from a D to a B or C?

Hey, guys. I have two more days left of school, the last one being a half day. I have around a 67% in Math class, I know it is a bit late, but, I really need to. I admit, I have been slacking for the last quarter.
Anywho, I need to know desperatly. My parents found my grades, and let's just say, I'll be in all types of pain if a D is on my report card. I have just emailed my teacher about extra credit, but, I am in middle school, so, it might not be any luck. We took our exams, which I feel confident about, and would that count to my semester grade? Or only my final grade? I have missed a lot of homeworks... and I don't have them all... is there ANY possible way to raise my grade about 2%? And if homework is late, she gives it a D. But, it's better than an E? Right?

I have an F in Biology and I need to raise my grade to at least a B! HELP!!!!?

How do you even have an F to start with......Think about it.....laziness or something else.

I will try to give the best advice.

Most people who start off as an F hope that they can make it up later. But most of the time they don't succeed.

SO, instead of asking the community about how you could improve and if it's possible to raise your grade, you should always know that you can improve your grade. Even in the worst situations. IF the teacher starts to see that you are working hard he/she will definitely consider raising your grade.

SO KEY POINT:

NEVER ASK IF YOU CAN IMPROVE OR RAISE YOUR GRADE JUST DO IT!!!!!

EVEN IF YOU DON'T RAISE YOUR GRADE YOU WILL STILL USE WHAT YOU LEARNED LATER ON IN YOU LIFE.

THIS HAPPENS A LOT.

SO GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE THAT YOU WILL WORK HARD TO RAISE YOUR GRADE:)

How to raise your grades in a week?

I'm in the same situation but maybe worse. I have 2 F's. I have a 25% in Math and Spanish. We have 5 more weeks of school. Here's what I suggest. Commit. I've been slacking in math for a while, not doing homework, not doing well on tests. I've finally woken up and realized that if I don't try my BEST and try to get A's and not C's then I will have to retake the class. You aren't trying if you're aiming for a C. That's pathetic. I understand that you don't want to sit there for hours on end at a desk with a pencil and paper and you don't really have to. Most state laws limit the amount of homework each night to less that 2 1/2 hours. Personally, I slack off by sitting at my computer instead of doing homework. What I've realized is that I don't NEED to be on Facebook for 4 hours a day. If you're serious about getting your grades back up, sit at your desk for 30 minutes at a time in your room with no distractions, no ipods, no tvs, or computers. Do nothing but homework. Every 30 minutes take a 5 minute break. DO NOT watch Tv. Most shows are an hour long and you will be sucked into it. And don't say you have a life outside of school. Everyone has friends. You need to figure out what comes first, your friends, or your education. I play lacrosse and football. If I have a big project coming up, I talk to my coach and say that I need to work on it. Tell you friends to f*ck off and let you do your work. Last year I snapped my phone in half during the 3rd quarter because I was tired of not getting the grades I wanted because of my friends. It's your choice, you can't blame your teachers or your parents. Sit down, work hard, and it will pay off.

Oh yeah, when you come home, have something to drink and start your work within a half hour of getting home from class. Hope you pass your classes.

Is it possible to raise your grade from an F to a C or better if you just had a 100 point test?

This years being hard for me not at school but,my parents just recently got divorced and there's
all this drama and it kinda makes me depressed,I know I shouldn't use excuses but I really need help on this. Ok so I right now have an 48.8% in English and it's the only class that I'm failing,my teacher has being giving me a hard time, and with the divorce it just makes me a little sad. But I just recently had a 100 point project so can that boost my grade to atleast a C? It was a group project and I think we atleast deserve a B. But also I have a missing assignment that's worth 65 points. I'm planning on doing it, I'll get full credit on that because my extra credit points will act as if it was nevr late. So plz help!!! I'm afraid that I may have to repeat the grade, and I don't want to just because of problems at home, I've gotten honor roll my whole life, and this year has just been a
disatser for me. So plz help!! Thank you so much

Can i raise my grade from an F to a C in a half a semester?

Depends on how many points your are missing and how many points the rest of the assignments and exams are. Get A's on all the assignments and exams the rest of the semester it is possible, depending on how low your points/percentage is (if your overall grade is like above 55%, then you might just barely get a C).

Find out how many points your currently have, and how many you need to get a C. Example: Overall maximum points is a 1000, so 750 would be a C (75%, C- is usually not passing in most colleges). And you have 450 (45%-F), you would need a minimum of 300 points to get at least a C.

Then add up the points for all the assignments/exams you haven't completed yet. If that equals at least 300, then you can bring up grade to a C if you got a perfect score on all of them. If points are more than 300 (like around 350), then you can possibly pass if you get mostly A's with one or 2 B's. If points is under 300, then no, you will not be able to pass.

The figures above are just examples as I don't know how many points you have, or need, or how many points are left to get.

Your teacher can help you figure this out more with the points.

In the future, I highly recommend you do not slack at all during semester and study. College is not like high school where you can graduate with a below a C.

Is it possible to raise a F to C in one week?

That's probably a question you want to take up with your teacher.

There are a lot of variables there; How many assignments have you recieved so far this grading period? Will there be a quiz or a test in said week? Will there be homework? Is extra credit being offered.

This is impossible to answer online, only your teacher can give you an answer.

How high can a final worth 20% raise my grade, considering that I have an 80 in the class?

Although there’s no breakdown of the other percentages worth (homework, other tests/ assignments) we can assume those misc are still worth 80%. All you have to do is estimate what you think you will get on the final. If you get a 90% on the final, you can expect to get an extra 18% on your final grade. (estimated percentage times 20)The highest it can raise your grade is 20% if you get a 100% on the final.
