I No Nothing About Printers So What Printer Is Compatable With Windows 8.1

Why is the EPSON printer not able to print a document in Excel but it can in Word?

Without knowing the specifics, it’s hard to say. However, printer setup is simple with Office and, because it’s working with Excel, means it likely to be ‘local’ to Word, i.e. it’s one of your settings rather than a Windows/Office/Word issue. So, check your printer in Word and make sure that it’s printing to the right printer and not to something like:If it’s printing to the correct printer, but still not working, export (or print) the document to pdf and print from there. If it still doesn’t work, then I’d need additional information or, alternatively, get hold of Epson and ask them - it’s their hardware and they can look deeper into the issue.

Why does my printer keep printing blank page?

There are few things more frustrating than carefully putting together an important document or file and pressing ‘Print’, only for the printer to send out a completely blank sheet of paper, as fresh-faced as the day it left the ream. There are a few things which could be the cause of this problem so we will run through the most common, and detail how to rectify these problems in a timely fashion.Empty CartridgesWe don’t want to sound condescending, but have you checked the ink/toner levels in your cartridge? They may have completely depleted since you last used the printer. Check the ink/toner levels and replace when necessary.Disconnected CartridgeEven if your cartridge is full and ready for action, it may have become slightly dislodged and no longer in full electrical contact with the printer. The easiest way to rectify this potential problem is to simply remove and reinstall the cartridges. This may complete the electrical circuit and ensure everything runs and prints as normal.Incorrect Paper SizeIf you have accidentally (or purposefully for a previous print job) changed the in-program paper size setting without reverting back to your paper size of choice – it could be confusing the printer. Go into Print Preview or the print settings and make sure the correct paper size is selected.Clogged NozzlesThis problem is particularly likely to affect people who use their printer quite infrequently, with hardened ink potentially clogging up the nozzles. If your printer has a ‘Print Head Nozzle Check’ option, select that and let the machine clear the nozzles. This should remove any blockages and help the ink to flow once again.Windows:- Open up Printing Preferences (this is accessible in a number of different ways, depending upon the version of Windows)- Click Maintenance- In the Settings section, select Skip Blank Page- Save your settings by clicking OKMAC:- Open Finder and select System Preferences- Depending upon the version of OS, select either Print & Scan, Print & Fax or Printers &Scanners:- Select Options & Supplies- Click either Driver or Options- Tick the Skip Blank Page and click OKAfter trying all the above solutions, If problem continue then reach out printer repair service center for resolution. There may be any technical problem with your printer.

Why are the viewing windows on large format printers tinted?

A lot of large format printers uses UV-ink. This means that you need UV to cure the ink. The tinted windows give you the possibility to look at the print process without getting exposed to the the strong UV radiation. It is a sort of UV Filter. Here you can see the lamps through the tinted glass. As you can see the amount of light is still pretty much.

What are the 3D printers that have a native driver in Windows 8.1?

I'm not much of a windows guy these days, but i'd venture to guess that none. Some printers have special software/firmware and require their own drivers. In general you need two things to connect a 3d printer.repetier host (which has drivers in it for connecting to the common 3d printer firmwares), and usb drivers (which are native).

Brother MFC printer won't print black despite full ink cartridges?

My printer was out of ink for a long time, and I just now replaced the cartridges. I ran some test prints and the other three colors (magenta, cyan, yellow) are working, but black is not showing up. I took each cartridge out and checked to see that the plastic was pierced through to ink, and they were. I also tried the cleaning maintenance option, but that didn't work. Some guides said to unplug the printer, but that was not the problem...

Any ideas?

Model: Brother MFC-240C

Why do printers mysteriously stop working after a couple of years? Nearly every one I've owned just seemed to go into some kind of error state, with nothing mechanically wrong. It almost seems like planned obsolescence…

I’d suspect that the operating system updates or printer drivers are becoming corrupted or the new drivers simply weren’t tested properly. Many Windows 10 users complain of a litany of system problems, like sound no longer working, display resolution changes, and some devices just stop working after a mandatory required system update is installed, Thank you Microsoft. In some cases it could also be the printer itself. Some printer drivers weren’t released for newer OS versions, so an OS update and now your printer’s no longer working, no valid driver available. Very typical for Windows 8 and 8.1 where Microsoft had to create drivers for every device in 2 different versions as they weren’t compatible with the other. Again, thank you Microsoft. Then they wonder why so many simply refused to buy their products or update their systems. Even many peripheral companies had to create two sets of drivers for their products, one for Windows 8 and another for Windows 8.1.Sometimes the printer firmware itself isn’t compatible with the Microsoft system drivers. Like some PCL5, PCL6e and PS printers don’t work properly with some system driver releases.

My Brother Printer is offline?

I have a Brother MFC-J430W, and hp Laptop windows 8.

My printer is offline. I went on control panel, device and printers, right click on the printer's icon, click on "see what's printing", clicked on printer, but I didn't have the option of clicking on "use printer offline" or "pause printing". I clicked on it, nothing happened.
When that didn't work, I turned off the printer for a while, turned it back on, still offline.

I am at my wits' end with this damn printer. What should I do?

Win 8.1 driver for Zebra LP 2824 label printer?

Did something change in Windows 8 (more specifically 64-bit 8.1) that regular Windows printer drivers may not work? I tried to install the printer driver for a Zebra LP 2824 label printer from its CD and after entering the IP address of the printer and choosing the driver, it just aborted with some error about "wrong environment".

And after attempted install of the printer driver, when I tried to manually add a printer and updating to the full list that Windows had for drivers, there were some Zebra drivers, but nothing remotely similar.

When I asked Zebra support their odd reply was:

"The designer driver is not working in windows 8.1 yet..
The only software and driver that i know to be working is a bartender driver from seagull scientific"

I have no idea what a "designer" or "bartender" driver is, I am just looking for what I think is an EPL printer driver to be able to print to the printer from MS Word.

Printer Problem..Hp Laser Jet 1200?

try printing in batches. print 10 pages duplex per session and see if that helps. when you say you have unchecked the spooling option is the machine now printing direct to printer? if yes then the 10 page batches should help you if no then try printing direct to printer. it should send the info down in batches and give the memory time to recover
