Good names for fandom blog?
Woo! Love it when someone makes a fandom tumblr! For fandom URLs basically think of your fandoms and notable stuff from them. For example: DW has bowties, the tardis, companions. HP has wands, hogwarts, wizards. Hunger Games has: Tributes, cannon fires, the girl on fire. Think of all these things that make your fandom(s) special and figure out a way to work them together for a creative URL! You could also add in your name like 'Kit-with-a-tardis' If the url you want is taken then you can: add or remove spaces (Wizardsandwands vs. Wizards-and-wands), use creative spellings or add letters (wizards-and-wands vs wizzards-n-wandz), add in numbers (wizardsandwands vs wizardsandwands95), or add in another meaningless (or meaningful) word (wizards-and-wands vs of-wizards-and-wands) I'm sorry that these are more of guidelines than actual ideas but, your URL is something you should come up with so that it reflects you. It can be hard but, when you get a great URL, then you'll be happy every time you see it and know that it is a reflection of your own creativity.

Is there a way to acquire an inactive Tumblr blog username/URL?

I want a cool url for tumblr.. any ideas?
you can't have - in front of the name anymore. only people who had it before tumblr changed it can have it. try something original though. putting a celebrities name as your url, it doesn't make people think "oh this person is interesting". I follow blogs with names like stitchsexual, princess-****, hung0ver, and d3uces for example. they have interesting urls that made me say "oh I wanna check them out".
