I Want To Do Modelling As A Career Should I Go For I

Is modeling a fulfilling career?

not really. it would be fun for awhile, but you would be so bored and empty after awhile. i mean it doesn't take anything to be a model besides looks. and if you were born with those, it's not like it's a challenge.

like i'm not saying it wouldn't be fun, but i'm sure it would get dull after awhile. you'd be searching for something more. it could be a good side job, but nothing you should consider seriously as a life job. for one thing, it's very hard to become a famous enough model to make enough money off of it. for another, even if you did, like i just said, you'd be bored with it after awhile.

I want to make my career in modeling and acting field how can I start my modeling career?

By “ Seriousness” I mean discipline because modelling itself is a lifestyle which you should adopt.Work hard for it,Work out everydayTake a good care of your healthTake a extreme care of your faceDevelope your personality in every possible wayGet well educatedAnd one day when you see yourself at your best lever then go for beauty pageants like MISS/MISTER INDIA. If you think acting will also do for you, then go for theaters like NSD.

I want to further my modeling career but the bf hates it.....help!?

At old, old time, women do not have any dream and most of them are not very unhappy because they do not even know they can have any dream; they are simply part of the property of men. Today, you know you can have a dream, and luckily you are doing it. When you hold your self back for no reason, I am here to tell you that you need to make sure you do not regret whatever decision you made for the rest of you life. Because, time is one of those thing you never can find out the answer of “What if?” If somebody love you for real, got to be as it is; take it or leave it. He can make up so many reasons, but all the reason sounds like is all about him; none of the reason is about you. Look! Nice women never archive anything. You need to learn to stay away from negative person. I am not going to tell you what you should do, simple because a decision like this one, nobody should tell you what to do, don’t even husband; set aside he just a boy friend. You did say “boy” friend, right? Good luck!

How long does a modeling career last?

This is something that I happen to be an expert at because I am a model and so is my fiancee. Your best bet when starting out is to join an agency. * Make sure you do your research though, because some agencies are very good and others are very poor. * Also do be prepared to be asked to pose in skimpy and revealing clothing. Sometimes you will also be asked to pose nude. If you are uncomfortable with your body or don't like being nude or semi nude, this is not a good choice for a career.
As far as how long your career will last is really up to you. You have to take care of your self by eating healthy, exercising, and having an over all healthy life style. There are models like Christie Brinkley who have been in the business for decades. Bottom line is this be healthy, stay healthy, and you will have a long career.
Last but not least, do expect a lot of hard work and heart ache. The modeling world isn't for everyone. What I would also do is look into acting as well, since the way Hollywood is going many stars have both acting and modeling careers. Both my fiancee and I have done plenty of acting as well (commercials, extras, etc.). Just remember to stay positive and never do anything that you aren't comfortable with. Good luck! :)

How do I start a career in modelling in Mumbai India?

Trust me , if you are good enough you don't even need a portfolio. My friends have got a call from big ad agencies ( genuine, FMCG) as they came across his OLX, or other social sites profiles. . You can take some good photographs though, a freelancer photographer would be fine. But here is my suggestion, are you sure about it? Is it your passion or just  fad, please make yourself clear about it before deciding to skip your education line. Trust me , this life might be a very struggling one , frustrating when you do not get what you have wanted. And are you clear where you want to be? Become an actor, or any other option when you get old. ? I mean , before deciding anything please just go through your whole future once and come back and decide. Don't do it because friends and relatives told you, they are not going to live your life, do it because you want it. Take some good photographs . These days digital would also do. Approach ad or marketing agencies. You can work part time on clicking photos from Ecommerce companies , for ads. etc.

I’m thinking about doing 3D modeling as a career. Should I go to college or start applying for jobs?

3D modeling is used for a lot of different things - video gaming, movies & TV, architecture, engineering design, interior design, product design and 3D printing to name a few. Which kind of work do you have in mind, and are you currently skilled with any particular software? No one is going to hire you unless you can be productive from day one.If you’d like to get into video gaming or 3D animation, there are programs at some colleges which lead to this kind of work. You might check out what’s in your area, and the cost. There may be other topics on Quora in which you could get better answers.Engineers, architects and designers use 3D modeling as a tool to develop and communicate their designs. In their case, you have to have the technical knowledge first before you know what to model. Is it artistic modeling you want to do, or is some type of design interesting? Maybe think about all the long term career possibilities that you’d find interesting.

Video Game Industry: What should I do to get a career in 3d modeling?

A lot of questions here. My first question to you is, can you draw? Can you sculpt in clay? As the tools for 3d modeling improve, the skill set resembles the plastic arts more than digital. You'll be using your hands to move volumes in virtual space as opposed to moving vertices around with a mouse. This trend will only continue, so it's a good idea to take drawing classes and anatomy for painters and sculpting if you can find them. You're better off going to art school than a technical school in my opinion as it's your eye and understanding of space that will set you apart. To the specific questions:1 - Modelers do not need to be expert riggers or animators, but a basic understanding of what goes into a rig will help you make models that are easier to move through the pipeline. These days, texturing is becoming more closely tied to modeling and most pure modeling packages will let you paint your models using the same tools you sculpt them with.2. Yes, creating the final image is what rendering is, but it's a full discipline in itself because after all the elements are put into a shot, it can take days to render each frame using very sophisticated algorithms. People in the rendering department tend to be very technical. 3. You definitely don't need to go to college to become a 3d modeler and you won't learn anything at any university that you can't learn for free on the internet. But... if you have the opportunity to go to college, do it. Given how little you know about 3d modeling, I think it might be too early to build your career around it. If you can, find a school with good art, film and computer departments and take classes in all the above to find what you really want to do (and if they have industrial design, definitely do that).4. The industry is shifting right now. It used to be a good bet that you could find work in LA or the bay area, but a whole lot of work is going overseas. It's a tough industry and salaries start low. It's hard to predict what the future will be, but see my note about 3d printing below.5. See 3.It's a tough time to jump into CG in general. The industry is in turmoil and who knows where it will land, but 3d printing is growing like crazy right now. The skills are similar (with some technical differences) so make sure that whatever you learn, you have a handle on how to output for printing as that seems to be a place to find work in the coming years.
