I Was Looking For A Corset For My Wife. Iv Seen It Before Just Cant Find It.

What does it feel like to faint? I just watched my wife sit on the bathroom floor with a vacant stare and unresponsive. What is going on when you faint? Can you hear people, and are you conscious of what is going on around you?

I can, sadly, now answer this question.I was getting my blood drawn. Now, thing to know about me: I am deathly afraid of needles and blood. So you can imagine how horrific this experience sounds to me. But I had to do it.When the doctor took out the needle, I made the mistake of looking straight at it going into my arm. I realized a couple of seconds after that what I was doing was not a good idea, since I am trypanophobic, and turned away immediately. But then I saw a couple black spots in my vision while I was looking at the wall opposite me as a distraction. I thought I was just getting dizzy from being so scared, but then the black dots kept spreading and spreading until they took up my entire field of vision. The last thing I remember hearing was the doctor saying, “She looks pale.”And then I was sleeping. Pitch black darkness surrounded me, all was silent. I was sitting in my bed, sleeping. But why was I sleeping? Hadn’t I been getting my blood drawn a few minutes ago? And how can I think while I’m sleeping? All of the sudden, my eyes flew open, and I found myself pitched forward in the chair I was sitting in with the doctor trying to hold me up. I sat up and looked, very confused, at the many faces of the doctors that now surrounded me.“What happened?” I asked.“You fainted,” my mom said.“That makes sense.” A pause, then nausea overwhelmed me. “I’m going to throw up.”So I threw up in the garbage can. But I hadn’t eaten anything that morning, so it was all spit. Pretty gross if you ask me.As I lay down on the table with ice packs, pillows, and water, I asked my mom again what exactly had happened. She said that I had gone pale and a real shade of green. And then my eyes rolled back in my head and I fell forward. I was only out for 10 seconds at max, but they had to take the needle out of my arm because I had fallen forward and you were supposed to keep your arm still while they are drawing your blood. Thankfully, they had enough blood and didn’t have to have be come back for another test. And while I was left on the table, the world still spinning, I thought, Man, my friends are going to get a kick out of this.To specifically answer your question, I was not aware of anything while I was out. Not sound, nor light or activity. It was just all darkness and confusion.

I want to buy a corset to wear for my boyfriend..?

Hi,
you can look on:
http://www.corsets-uk.com/authentic.html

The size of an authentic corset should be about 4" smaller than your current waist. The sizing is 20, 22, 24, ... inches, it is circumference of the corset when it is fully laced up. Look into the size chart of seller before ordering one.

Note: On corsets-uk there are models "Fashion corsets", "Authentic corsets" and "Waist training corsets". The "fashion corsets" are designed for light enclasping of body. They are made with plastics bones usually. The "authentic corsets" can reduce your waist size about 4 - 5" and the "waist training corsets" about 6 - 7". They both are made with steel spiral bones. The "waist training corsets" are recommended for experienced wearers only. The sizing is different for fashion or authentic- and waist training- corset. Look on info pages of the seller.

The corsets reinforced with plastic bones are cheap with low durability. The plastic bones can twist, they don't hold shape of the corset and you can rip out the grommets for back lacing. The corsets reinforced with the steel bones or spirals are better. Such corsets are higher priced. Their durability is longer than at cheaper corsets.

The corsets from Axfords (like C140) or Vollers look excellent. Also corsets from Doris are exquisite. But they are too expensive.

Wear under your corset some liner. To put the corset on or off unlace it first. You will need some help for corset lacing and unlacing. You should keep in your mind you can't bend down when wearing your corset. If you will wear the stockings you should attache them to garters of your corset before you lace your corset up.
When you will lace your corset yourself, use large mirror to see the laces at the back of your corset. Lace your corset only gradually and lace it up tighter after some time step by step.

The corset creates absolutely stunning hourglass figure, small waist, perfectly flat stomach and perfect posture. But it is a bit restrictive. It holds your body upright. You can't move like uncorseted before. You can hardly bend down. It isn't easy to pick something from floor or slump in a chair when wearing corset.
Good luck.

...wearing a corset at school - whats the bit deal?

....so im sat in the library at school at the moment and its a bit warm so i have taken my blazer off - (we have to wear uniform at school- shirt, tie, skirt and blazer) and 3 people now have comment because they can see the laces at the back of my corset through my shirt

ive reaaly got into corsets over the last few months and wear on everyday now - very few people have notice as i usually keep my blazer on but today i havent and 3 people have commented - i have a few corsets and usually wear one to school laced to about 20" which is a 4" reduction on my waist - our uniform is quite good at disguising a corset

Are bones supposed to bend when wearing corset?

umm, i've never worn a corset before, but I would say that if its bending your bones, its probably too tight!

Where can i find a JANET costume?

Liz Stockton from Sins O The Flesh (Los Angeles Rocky Horror Picture Show cast) makes quite a few RHPS costume pieces.

Here is the red gantlet to wear on your right arm (it comes with a fishnet gantlet to wear on your left):

Here is the garter belt (she has other sizes available):

If you need it, here is her wig:

For the corset, you will need to find a black corset. To make it look like the movie, I recommend wearing it upside down and backwards. That way the lacing is in the front. You can sew sequins or glue rhinestones to it. You'll need fishnets to wear with your garter belt. If you want to be screen accurate, get some with a seam down the back. You'll need patent leather heals. Janet wears a 'Janet' necklace. Mine is wire wrapped (because its cheaper) and was made by David Boyd. Here's a link to his ebay page:

He currently doesn't have any necklaces for auction, but I'm sure he'd be happy to make one for you. Just send him a message.

As for boa (totally not necessary, but if you have extra money and want to go the extra mile), Pixy Creations makes good ones. Here's a link to her ebay profile. You can send her a message to see if she has time to take a commision.

Good luck!!!!!
FYI -- you don't have to dress as a character to go to the show. These days most audience members just dress in sexy lingerie. Since you are seeing it on halloween, most people will be wearing their normal halloween costumes. I've been at a Rocky show for 3 halloweens in a row now. This year will be my fourth.

btw -- my floorshow costume:

Can I reduce my waist size by wearing a corset?

Yes, it does, if done correctly. It requires a sturdily built steel-boned corset that has enough of a curve in the waist to cinch it in, and enough room in the rib and hip area to allow for reduction when the corseter's waist becomes smaller. It requires the corseter to wear their corset often, for long periods of time, at a high enough reduction in the waist. If done correctly, in the long term there will be a difference in the corseter's waist. Our bodies are pliable, and our organs allow for some shifting around (especially women, during pregnancy), so over time, it's possible to make a difference in one's uncorseted waist.Of course, your corseted waist will always be smaller than your uncorseted one, but it is definitely possible to make a difference in your uncorseted waist. However, it's not permanent in the sense that if you stop wearing your corset regularly, your waist will eventually go back to its original measurement.Waist training to a certain reduction takes a long time - at the very least, many months - and it depends on each person's body. The presence and absence of muscle and fat can make a difference, as well as the size and placement of one's bones and organs. It depends on varying factors, but waist training always takes up a significant amount of time - it's certainly not a "trim your waist quick" scheme. It's a commitment and a progression. It should also not be mistaken for a replacement for exercise and good diet. Having a small waist is not the same thing as being fit and healthy, and it's actually easier to obtain a small waist when you are exercising and eating right. Waist training is neither a "get slim quick" scheme, nor is it a "get fit quick" scheme. It's a way to reduce your natural waist beyond what you can normally accomplish without a corset.

Dangers of wearing a *corset* made out of ducttape?

honey I don't know for definite as I don't know how tight it is or anything, as long as you can breath fine you should be ok, in the olden days women did get ill and some fainted and some it was more serious for because the corsets that they wore were extremely tight and it squashed their internal organs, but I should think that for a few hours it should be okay =) after all you will only have to wear it at the church/reception as you will get changed for the party. I have actually done this before but for me I only wore it for like half an hour, it was just to take a couple of pictures in and to measure my weight loss. Like I said if you can breath fine and it is not squashing you TOO much you should be fine, after all real SAFE corsets do pull you in quite a lot =)
