How to fix iPod stuck in "Wipe" mode from iCloud (Find My iPhone)?

My iPod is on a tethered (with semi-tether on) and mixed iOS 5.0/5.0.1 update (I'm running iOS 5.0.1, but have 5.0 on the tethered mode, it's difficult to explain.) and haven't been able to restore it because I always ALWAYS get error 3194. I literally wiped my whole computer, put a fresh Windows install on (XP, pro) and installed iTunes. I still have the same error. I went into Find My iPhone and thought: "Screw this, wipe it then restore it." At this point I am completly enraged with it... So I wiped it... It started wiping at 5:32 PM (Eastern Standard time (Toronto, Ottawa)) and its been like that for 4 HOURS... How do I fix it? Do I initiate a force shut-down and restore? Leave it over night? I have 77 apps, no movies, 225 songs (1 GB) and 1 GB of other.

Thanks ALOT, Edwin
