If A Conservative First Female President Gets Elected President

Who was the first Conservative (Right) Republican President and who was the first Liberal (Left) Democratic president?

George Washington

“As Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality.”

The president's wife is called "first lady". If a woman gets elected president what will her husband be called

Here's the kicker:

When a woman is elected president, her husband's title will in fact be "first gentleman".

If that woman's husband is a retired general, he may still be addressed as "General".

If he's a former cabinet secretary, he'll still be addressed as "Mr Secretary".

If he's a former senator, he'll still be addressed as "Senator".

And, yes, if he's a former president of the US, he'll still be addressed as "Mr President".

How likely is it for the first female president to be a Republican?

Q: How likely is it for the first female president to be a Republican? It’s viable. Won’t happen until 2024 at the earliest. If Trump is still around in 2020, he’ll be the nominee. If he isn’t, he will either have had some kind of major health issue or there is turmoil in the party. Either way, Democrats will likely win in that case. After that, if things go as they usually do, then Pence will be the nominee in 2024. Democrats will stand a solid chance of taking back the office in that year due to Trump fatigue or a better than even chance in 2028 if Pence wins. The likelihood is the first woman President will be a Democrat as a result. The one thing Clinton did was set the stage for a female President for either party. She was a horrendous candidate, but. thanks to her, it’s no longer a novel concept for a woman to run as a serious candidate. For that, at least, she deserves credit.

What happens if a female president is elected, and after that she gets pregnant?

Most of our Presidents have been past the age where menopause begins in women. However, there is the possibility of mood swings... then again, I'd sooner trust the mood swings of a pregnant Democrat than the permanent insanity of some of the right-wing Republicans who've run for President the last 30 years.

There was actually a movie about this possibility, all the way back in 1964. I swear, I'm not making this up: Polly Bergen and Fred MacMurray starred in "Kisses For My President," and it was as much about the feelings of the First Husband as it was about the difficulties facing the first female President. She became pregnant, and, 10 years before we had a real-life President resign (Nixon as a result of his crimes), she resigned the office and the Vice President took the job. By a bit of genius casting, when the TV show "Commander-in-Chief" aired on ABC, with Geena Davis as a President whose youngest kid was already 6, Bergen was cast as the President's mother.

If it were ever to happen, the likeliest scenario would be that Article 3 of the 25th Amendment to the Constitution would be activated, and the President would, at whatever point her doctor recommended, sign the powers and duties of the Presidency over to the Vice President, and he (or she, though an all-woman ticket is really unlikely) would become Acting President. When the President was medically cleared to return to work, she would reclaim the job, and things would go back to where they were before.

How do we ensure that president Donald Trump gets re-elected in 2020?

Well, just continue to ignore that Trump got more support from blacks and Latinos than other Republican candidates.

This insinuates that all those blacks and Latinos are too stupid to vote, and that they need white Democrats to dictate to them

And just keep saying how racist white people are. Because insulting the majority of voters is always a great election strategy.

That should help Trump in 2020.

Is it right that a white woman president gets elected before a black president ?

The issue is what do the people of The United States think is best for them.

The issues that are facing us are so serious that I would say that the issue of the first woman president or the first black president is irrelevant.

Personally I say that Hillary and Bill have the most experience and the best plan for cleaning up the mess the Republicans have made of the economy. Hillary shoudl be elected President for the next two terms.

Barack Obama should be Vice President for Hillary Clinton and use those 8 years to build up his experience. Then Barack Obama shoud be President for the next two terms.

I am very favorably impressed with the position that Barack Obama has taken that we should invade Pakistan to eliminate the Muslim Extremists such as Al Qaida and The Taliban that have been using Pakistan as a safe haven.

Will Nikki Haley be the first female president in 2024, or 2028?

I’m not Psychic, many viable female candidates are available on the left side of the aisle that could defeat Donald Trump in 2020. Maybe Donald Trump won’t run in 2020 and the first female President will be Carly Fiorina in 2021, maybe the First Female President will be Elected in 2032, maybe the First Female President will be a Male President’s Vice President when the Male President dies. Nikki Haley could certainly run and I don’t doubt that the first Female President could be a Republican but I think that many more conservative Women who could be potential Candidates Sarah Palin, Elizabeth Dole, Condoleeza Rice, Carly Fiorina, Joni Earnst, Mia Love, Susanna Martinez, Elise Stefanik, Susan Collins, Sen. Kelly Ayotte, Lisa Murkowski, Ann Coulter, Meg Whitman, Star Parker, Sophia A. Nelson, Michele Bachmann, Jan Brewer, Marsha Blackburn and the aforementioned Nikki Haley to name a few. The First Female President will Likely be Republican because Republicans would rather vote for a woman than a Democrat and Independents are excited about the First Female President so a Woman Republican has a better chance of getting elected right off of the bat than a Woman democrat.

Is the first female President in the USA likely to be Liberal or Conservative?

Are you kidding me?

I believe that we saw how sexist the media really is starting in 2008 when it was announced that a female governor of Alaska was going to be the VP on McCain's GOP ticket. The attacks haven't stopped yet.

Yes, I am talking about Sarah Palin.

There will never be a female president. The media will slam her to death.

I personally don't think that we should judge someone on anything but merit, but the fact of the matter is that liberals absolutely hate women. Notice that that are trying to turn men into homosexuals and women into harlots? This is a conspiracy to ensure that women will never get married and live their lives in misery.

Who will be the first woman president of United States if not Hillary?

I’ve asked myself that question before. I’m Canadian, but under no circumstance could I have summoned up the will to vote for Hillary Clinton, even if I was choosing between her and the current President. The American people had to choose between someone who called half of all Americans deplorable, and someone who said that they could sexually harass women using their celebrity. Both.Terrible.Choices.Y’know who might be the first woman president, that I would have my vote set on in a heartbeat if she announced her candidacy?Nikki HaleyShe is the 29th United States Ambassador to the United Nations, and she’s doing a damn fine job representing America abroad. Unlike many in the Trump administration, this woman has kept her spine straight, and stood up to the President. She is confident, and well-spoken. She has an excellent background, serving as the Governor of South Carolina and as a Republican representative in South Carolina’s house. Her platforms were anti-tax and fiscally conservative. She voted for bills that restrict abortion and those that protect fetuses. As the child of legal immigrants, Haley has expressed support for greater enforcement of immigration laws. And much to the chagrin of the democrats, she’s a minority, the daughter of immigrants, and formerly a Sikh.Nicki Haley is who I’d vote for over Hillary Clinton.Edit:It has been pointed out to me twice in the comments that former Secretary Clinton actually ended up calling 21% of Americans deplorable, not half. I was wrong about what I said. That’s that. I do believe for all intensive purposes, its the same deal, but for transparency's sake, you got me.

Will the first female president be a Republican?

Probably not. Because no woman (other than Palin and Bachmann) could ever carry the torch of today's hyper-right Republican party. There are plenty of conservative women - but conservative women want to solve problems and get things done, and that means the leadership of negotiation, compromise, and actually paying attention to the will and needs of the people. And that is just not what the Republican party is about these days.
