If A Guy Has No Female Friends Does It Mean He

Why does my boyfriend have so many female friends on facebook?

I dont think it's a problem to have friends of the opposite sex. Especially on facebook because it's just facebook...doesn't really mean anything.

HOWEVER, people are missing what you said "he is th eone that always asks me if I go out if I went with a guy or girl" and "there's a difference".

If he wants his girl friends on facebook...well he is going to have to accept you haveing guy friends.

I mean, he is the one saying "there's a difference" between whether you went with a guy or girl...so...what does that mean for him? It's a two way street and if he can't hack it then he needs to grow up.

If you usually are insecure like other answerers said, maybe it's what he does to make you insecure?! I dont know enough but if he is fine with his female friends but questions you...then I would say he is one insecure little man. Trying to make himself feel better with his "friends" on facebook (how lame of him anyway), and trying to get to you by rubbing it in your face. Maybe he is threatened by you and thinks you are too good for him so needs to play games?

Men, please advise! Travelling with a female friend?

For that kind of thing the guy could be feeling her out seeing how she is, what she is like, etc. I know for me most of my relationships have started from friendships. There was nothing exclusively physical at first, we were just friends i.e. no pressure to really impress her. Then one night we were talking the proposition was made to go out on a date but the stress of a first date was gone cause we had done it a million times before it was just a little different, ya know?

My best advise play it cool. Be like The Fonz: just go, "ayeeee!" *with thumbs up* if it works out it to be a friendship only you will be one of the coolest friends (female) that he has. If it goes the other way it will work out into your favor too cause then you will be thought of as easy going and it will be a smooth transition.

It really depends on what the woman wants out of this thing.

Is it common for guys to flirt with their female platonic friends?

I met a good guy when I went abroad last November. He is a real gentleman, a good conversationalist, and I think a sincere person as well. We became good friends in a span of two weeks. When we both went back to our countries, we continued chatting, sending messages thru the cellphone, or calling each other. We even planned to have a business together. In our chatting, he would always tell me that he likes me or that he finds me pretty and one time he even said he finds me sexy. I would think of that as flirting. I was actually surprised with his words cause I know people from his country are very conservative and they don't talk that way unless they are really interested with the person. I should know, I've been working with them for several years now. So, I really thought he was interested in me, until I told him that I am getting attracted with him and he kinda backed off by telling me he doesn't feel the same. I mean why sould he say those things if he doesn't mean it?
