Why did slick rick get banned from the united states?
There was/is a law on the books in the US calling for the deportation of any foreigner convicted of a violent felony while in the US, and he did time in NY for 2nd Degree Attempted Murder back in 1990. However, the NY Governor pardoned him in May of 2008, so he is now legally allowed to be in the US.
