What is the green dot next to the phone icon on messenger?
No, it just means that the person is available to take a call. For example, I have the messenger app on Windows and the green dot appears next to the phone icon when that person is online. It is not there for an offline person. Normally, when you want to call someone and they are in another call, it would give you a notification to call back later.In a sense, it is kind of ambiguous, as it definitely confirms the online status but in terms of call availability, it can depend.Just an example photo.
Messenger says someone was active 1m ago. What does this mean?
That would mean that one or more of their devices was on, and logged in. Many opt to stay logged in on social media outlets even wben they are not using them. Therefore if ever their device(s) are turned on and have data or wifi also on, other users will see the little green or blue dot accompanied by the elapsed time since what was just explained took place. Even if they didnt open messenger, it will still show them as logged inIt can also mean the obvious , that the respective user logged in one minute ago, but not always the case.Especially hard to explain to a jealous or insecure partner that fears their significant other has checked in on the sly. Even harder for them to grow up and get a clue/life… js

Stuck in a sticky situation with husband?
Hi Janet, First, my heart goes out to you. You are "between a rock and a hard place" so to speak. He's doing wrong as you know. It's hurting you and if he continues to do this your children will suffer. Can you give him an ultimatum and tell him to quit or your gone. Could you go to a family member of friends house to stay? I think, honestly, I would try to be really nice.... You know what he 's doing and you hate it.... He's obvioulsy not going to change..... Better yourself... Prepare... Take the GED.. Go ahead and get things ready for yourself. Try to live seperately but together. Just be nice to him as much as it kills you... You are bettering yourself here. Go ahead and find a place. Low income rental or whatever for your kids.. Take all the time you need to better yourself. Save as much money as you can and make a go at it. Freeedom is precious!! Go to a church and ask for help.
