If North Korea Won The War Would They Attack Japan Years Later

Will North Korea attack Japan?

Unlikely unless by mistake. North Korea is characterized by its brinksmanship. What it is doing is effective blackmail, stopping short of escalation. Its a wargame of elaborate bluff.Attacking Japan makes no sense as it has nothing to gain and everything to lose by such a move, however, Japan, due to historical bitterness, is a handy area to test fire missiles. Again, brinksmanship in practice. For all its troubles in the 90s, North Korea garnered heavy fuel shipments from the US, and was on the brink of an effective normalization of relations. Bill Clinton was invited to Pyongyang by Kim Jong Il during his last months in office, but Bill was tied up with the unsuccessful Camp David negotiations between Ehud Barak and Yasser Arafat, which led to Intifada 2.In retrospect, Bill would have been wiser to take the offer to visit Pyongyang, as a normalization of relations was within reach. The agreement was put under review during George W Bush’s first 6 months and terminated in late 2002, shortly after naming North Korea with Iran and Iraq as “an axis of evil.”Now North Korea wants “election proof” agreements, a position hardened by Trump’s inept handling of the crisis.

Would a nuclear attack on North Korea hurt South Korea, Japan and China?

I hope it would not come to this, but if North Korea does launch a nuclear attack on the U.S., or South Korea or Japan as they say they are prepared to use anytime, then we would have no choice to retaliate with nukes and/or heavy bombs and bomb the hell out of North Korea. If we did nuke North Korea would South Korea, Japan and China be affected in anyway? with all the nuclear radiation and the explosion?

North korea vs japan in a war?

The US would immediately attack. South Korea would also support, so would the UN. Japan would fire in self defense, if it turns out to be missile and not a satellite. More then likely, China would invade to preempt a western take over of North Korea because they do not like the idea of a united Korea on their border, they like having North Korea as a buffer.

Kim Jong Ill may be crazy, but he is not stupid. His goal is to stay in power. He knows if he starts a war, his life is over. However, he also sees a new US president and a president that is handing out money, he wants his share of money. He is doing this to get attention from Obama. He does the same thing to every new president to feel out what he can get away with.

What would happen if Japan attacked North Korea on its own?

Japan attacking North Korea could possibly (most likely) lead to nuclear war. North Korea isn’t going to try and exert any real dominance in the region as it would collapse under western retaliation. It may use careful provocation, but it won’t do anything serious for obvious reasons. If Japan were to attack North Korea, North Korean would probably know beforehand as they are allied with China. This would then mean them sending nukes to Japan. If the U.S interferes (which it would as they are allied with Japan), then I could see them going suicidal taking out Japan and South Korea with them. Then China gets involved and you have complete instability within that region and it will spread. China will most likely use economic sanctions against the U.S, South Korea, and Japan which would hurt the U.S economy and other western nations. So you have massive lost of life, resources, and wealth. All for what? Japan obviously couldn’t take it as that would start a direct war with China as would be seen as Imperialism by the international community.Unless North Korea comes first or there are plans for some attack, it’s best to leave them be.

What happens if we go to war with north Korea?

If we go to war with North Korea, you're looking at a WWIII. It's a sorry thing and I doubt it will happen. I know we won't attack North Korea, so if they attack us China won't take their side. Let's see, the world would split into just about three parts.

Western Allies- Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, USA, Russia, Israel, South Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Taiwan, Iraq, and Pakistan

Middle Eastern Evil Allies- Iran, Jordan, Egypt Syria, and terrorist organizations such as Taliban (Afghanistan) and Al Qada.

Asian Allies- North Korea, China, Vietnam, Myanmar (spl?), Sri Lanka, Hong Kong.

Anywhere Countries- Cuba, Venezuela, India, Western Asia, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Africa.

This would be a win for us but a very difficult one. Korea has the largest overall military in the world (around 8 million) and I imagine they would take Philippines, Japan, Mongolia, Singapore, then move on to Canada.

It also could bring on a large scale nuclear war, which once again would be an easy win for us, but at a large cost.

This war would never happen because China will never attack us, Korea will never mess with Russia, and NK is just reaching the technology point we were at about 15 years ago. No need to worry.

U.S, South Korea, Japan vs China, North Korea, Iran war?

If North Korea attacks South Korea, and tries to invade them and SK has military ties to Japan and the U.S. so if they join in and aid South Korea, and Iran has ties to North Korea so if Iran joins in on NK's side and China has long been a North Korean ally so if China for some reason joins in Iran and North Korea's side and if Russia gives NK, Iran and China weapons who'd win?

North Korea vs South Korea war?

One on one, North Korea will lose. Yes, I know they have a huge Army. However, that huge Army is using old weapons that won't last too long against the modern weapons South Korea has. The war would be bloody but the South would win.

Of course, we all know it won't just be those two fighting. Other countries will come to South Korea's aid in an unprovoked attack against them by the North. China might be friends with North Korea but it would be much more feasible for them to not team up with them.

The last thing they want is to have sanctions put against them for attacking other NATO countries and then they lose all of that income they currently get from exports. If they have to choose between babysitting North Korea and getting paid they're going to get paid.
