Would Paul Ryan be a good president?
Absolutely. He'd be my pick for the GOP nomination in 2016. He has multiple things going for him. 1) He has been able to unite Republicans in the House (so far). The party is very divided, and the ability to effectively lead such a fractitious group would be instrumental to the Executive Branch. 2) He is a genuine fiscal conservative. The economy is the most important issue for the federal government, and his Roadmap is a cohesive, logical document that would help America. 3) He is realistic. In his book, The Way Forward, Paul Ryan made it very clear he recognizes the GOP needs to evolve, and, as his House colleagues have stated, he has a vision to get there. He would certainly have my vote.
