If Using Someone Else

Using Someone else's Sams Club Membership..?

If you are going to write a check you may have a problem. The name on the check will not match the card.
If you are going to pay with a credit card that may pose a problem as well. Again the name on the card you use will not match the card.
Cash it should not be a problem. There is a photo on the card so when they check they will know you are not the person to whom the card was issued. It should be alright but you may have to call your friend to verify that they have given you permission to use the card if they question it at the register.

Can you get STD's from using a sex toy that someone else used, but it's been a while since that?

My friend had a vibrator and he didn't want anyone in his house to see it, so I thought it would be funny if I had it. One day, as I was masturbating, I though I would try it. After a while, he told me that it had belongs to someone else, who most likely wasn't clean. Is there any way I could get something from it if it did have something?
I never planned on using it, I just thought it would be funny having it around.

Can you use someone else's fishing license?

You legally need to purchase your own license.
But fishing licenses don't have your photo on it, so it's quite possible you could fool Mr. Park Ranger by claiming that you're the person who signed the license. And if he asks you for a photo ID (such as a driver's license or state non-driver's ID), you could just say you aren't carrying one. In these United States, the Supreme Court has stated that you aren't legally required to present any personal identification papers to any law enforcement officer unless you're driving a car and are being charged with a traffic offense. Happy fishing :-)

Can’t you use someone else’s urine for a drug test?

Curently in all 50 states it is illegal to use someone else’s urine to pass a drug test. However considering the circumstances it is only illegal if you get caught. Most states it’s considered a felony to illegally pass a drug test. It can be done with practice and clean urine. The temperature of the urine has to be within a 5 to 7 degree window, when it is poured into the specimen container and of course clean unadulterated urine that preferably isn’t synthetic urine. Drug testing labs are becoming far too advanced and have covered almost all fool proof methods of detecting fake urine. They measure for creatine levels, those that don’t meet certain levels are rejected, PH levels. Normal human urine has a neutral ph, those outside eiether too acidic or alkaline will raise a red flag, this is why it’s pointless to do the baking soda trick that some people claim to use. Injesting large amounts of baking soda will defenatly their your PH off, likely to get rejected. They also check the gravity/density of your urine to make sure it fits the criteria for normal urine. Last but not least they will check for oxidation, which means ways of oxidating your urine to hide drug metabolites, or common household products like bleach or peroxide are often used. It’s not worth the risk to lose a potential good job, and if you are peeing for probation you are wasting your time if you think you can sneak in fake pee, and or come in and pee with whatever you decided to take to hide what’s in youR urine. Most probation offices will consider a diluted sample a fail which means it’s just as bad as actually failing the test bc so many people have tried to do whatever they can to pass but yet only failed. Yes it might be possible to get away with it once or twice but eventually they will find out that your still using and who wants to go back to jail for a probation violation when it could have been all prevented in the first place. Please put it down.

What happens if you get caught using someone else's ID?

In Adelaide I know of people that use other people's IDs that look similar to them to get into clubs, I was just wondering what would happen if you get caught? Is it just a "yes you're allowed in, please proceed/no you're not, go away" situation or are there actual penalties?

Please note this isn't using a fake ID it is using a real person's, just not your own.

Thanks =]

What are the consequences of using someone else's ID to sneak into a casino?

Nothing bad will happen except you will be barred from the casino if found out, however if you win a large amount like $1,000,000 on a slot machine, they will verify your ID and you won't get the money because it's not your ID. Imagine how crap you would feel then, very crap I would think!
I would do it to get in the casino if you want a night out, but I wouldn't bother gambling TBH.

Why write your own code if you can use someone else's code?

Developers should consider reusing existing code before writing their own. That said, there are some reasons why writing the code from scratch may be preferable. The library has licensing restrictions. For instance an open-source project might be hindered if it depends on a proprietary algorithm. Conversely a company developing proprietary software may need to avoid dependencies on some open-source software (e.g. those with viral licenses). The code is of low quality. Cumbersome APIs or lots of bugs might make using the library a burden. In some cases these issues can be fixed and the code safely used. However if the developer doesn’t have control over the code being called then these types of issues will be a real pain to deal with. The code doesn’t fit the needs of the software that would use it. For instance a string library that only supports ASCII isn’t going to work well for an application that needs Unicode support. The library doesn’t conform to the constraints imposed by the calling code. For instance:Google doesn’t allow the use of exceptions in C++ code. Linking in a library that uses exceptions would be problematic since none of the code that calls it is “exception-safe.”A thread-hostile library can’t be safely called from a threaded environment. The caller would instead need to implement a thread-compatible or thread-safe library. The target library might not support all the platforms required by the application. The library’s behavior might be inconsistent on the various platforms or it may fail to compile altogether. You want to build a better library and have the time, talent and resources to do it. For instance Google has developed numerous libraries that supplement or replace the standard C++ libraries. They’ve recently been released under the Abseil umbrella. Examples of improvements include:string_view, a container class that reduces unnecessary copying and supports both C-strings (char* ) and C++-strings (std::string). string_view is now a part of the C++17 standard.absl::Mutex - An alternative to std::mutex (and here’s some info on its benefits).A word of caution: Developers tend to overestimate the cost of fixing/maintaining an existing library and underestimate the cost of building/testing/maintaining a new library. So if you find yourself in one of the above situations it may be best to fix the underlying issue rather than start anew.

What happens if you get caught using someone else's Disneyland pass?

They take the pass and do not allow the person who gave it to you to ever purchase another pass for the rest of their life.

Whose name do you sign when using someone else's card?

When you use someone else's card, you should sign their name. It is legal to do this if you have that person's permission, it is called being an "agent" for someone else. However, to prevent any confusion, you should sign your own name as well: for example, if you are Jane Doe signing with the permission of John Smith, you could sign like so: "John Smith by Jane Doe, agent." There are various forms of doing this, and in some states a particular format is customary, so you could look it up.

Ideally, you should get the permission who is giving you permission to sign a written note which you can show anyone who asks questions. Your biggest concern is not what is legal, but what a merchant is willing to accept, since they have discretion in declining your use of a credit card if they don't trust it.
