To work at gamestop you have to be at least 18 due to them selling M rated games. When you are above this age go in and ask for an application and to talk to the manager. He'll be able to tell you anything you need to know. The only legal job at 14 is to work as a bagged at a grocery store. No other jobs are available until you are 16. Try asking your parents to do odd jobs for allowance or cut grass and shovel snow for neighbors. It's hard when your 14 trust me I am too. Good luck dude!

I have been looking into a job at gamestop lately. I turn 16 in December, and think i want a job there. I looked up almost everything i need to know about a job there. Some people love it but say it has lousy pay while others just hate it. I don't know why everyone is so stupid and assumes you have to be 18 to work at GameStop! You only have to be 16 and have a good overall knowledge of video games and their hardware and have skills using a cash register. I say go ahead and apply, you more than likely won't get the job soon, but they will keep your application for consideration, and another word of advice, if you call to check in, only do it once every month or so.

I wanted to know what is it like working at Gamestop, as a game advisor. I know they are the ones selling behind the counter and helping customers but i want to know what their day is like.
