Im On A Set Wage Should I Get Paid Every 4 Weeks Instead Of Set Date

Getting paid 'biweekly'?

You need to ask whoever does payroll where they are on their pay-cycle. Every company has a different schedule, so they would be the only authority to answer this question.

The two scenarios are:

1. If you started in the first week of the cycle, then you will have worked last week and this week, and will get paid on whatever pay date follows after the pay period ends. In other words, 3 weeks from the beginning of the pay-cycle. Or,

2. If you started in the second week of the cycle, you will get paid your first check for any hours worked from the time you started to the end of that week (Essentially a partial check) on the pay date following the pay period. Once you get this check, then you will be paid bi-weekly for two weeks of work.

How do bi-weekly paychecks work?

If you're getting paid bi-weekly, you'll receive a paycheck every two weeks with a combined total of the hours for the first two weeks of the pay period (typically 80 hours for full time employees) and a combined total of the following two weeks in a pay period. This should not be confused however, with semi-monthly pay periods as this is slightly different in the way it is calculated and distributed. If an employer pays semi-monthly, the employee will get two checks that month regardless of how many weeks worked in a given month. So, if you get paid on the 15th and the 30th and the month has five weeks, you'll still only receive two paychecks, whereas the bi-weekly structure will give you two paychecks based on four weeks, with the fifth week of a month being paid with the first week of the next month. Or every two weeks. Keep in mind with the bi-weekly pay period that applying for loans or calculating income, it will be calculated at 4.33 because of the possibility of a fifth week in a given month. Therefore, bi-weekly paychecks are calculated at 4 weeks, and accommodating the extra week.

How many dates should a guy pay for before he lets the girl pay or split the tab?

3 or 4.The guy should absolutely, 100% pay for the first two dates.  She may offer (it's just a gesture to be polite).  You refuse and pay.If she keeps insisting (at least 4 times) then let her.  It means she's not interested.Assuming you got dinner, and she insists twice, say "well, are you up for a drink after this?  why don't you let me get this and you can pay for a quick drink for us."You can let her pay for smaller things.  Like brunch or drinks.  For the first 3-5 dates, you pay for the more expensive things. After that, you're getting somewhat serious, and every situation is different.  She might make a lot of money, and you'll end up switching off (you pay one, she pays one, etc.).  Or maybe you make a lot and she's a student - then you're paying just about every time.On average though, assuming the incomes are relatively similar, the guy should pay 3/4 or so.  This could be the guy paying for the $100 dinner and the girl paying for the $30 brunch or $25 drinks after dinner.  Or she pays for one out of every 3 or 4 dinners.

How do you budget your money if you only get paid once a month?

I'm having a hard time trying to decide whether or not to take a job that pays a lot more than what I make now, but it only pays once a month and my job now pays once a week.
