Why are kids not allowed to take pictures or videos on the school bus?
Primarily because it as a distraction for the driver, hence, a safety hazard. I drive school bus and I don't allow cell phones to even be turned on. There is nothing that important happening in the World that they can't wait to get off the bus to hear about. Also; until the students are off the bus they are deemed to be on school property. There are also privacy issues to be addressed - I don't care to be photographed when about my job unless my security camera is turned on; to date it has never been used. I didn't make this an order to my students; I merely asked politely at the beginning of the year if they wouldn't mind turning off their cell phones while on the bus. And when I run charters for special events I do the same.
Parents, do think kids should have Tablets, cellphones or Laptops?
I don't think kids having these items are the issue. I think parents need to be more involved if their children have these items. My boys have a kids tablet that they share. They are 5 and 7. They have many educational apps (and I won't lie, Angry Birds too). They have time limits, an hour per day, per kid. I don't see how this could possibly "dumb down society" unless they are being used for gaming purposes only, which in itself doesn't make one dumb either, so even then, that point is ridiculous. My 2 year old even uses the tablet sometimes to color, take pictures or make videos, do puzzles, letter and number games. She knows how to use it, and I think teaching kids about technology at a young age is very beneficial, because like it or not, they WILL need to know about technology. It is such a huge part of how we live today, and will live in the future. Restricting it completely does not benefit the child. Teaching them how to use it and use it properly does benefit the child. When I was a kid, I was listening to cassette tapes, and then cd's, and finally, by the time I was in high school, I got an ipod. In school, we had IBM computers, these huge bulky things that most kids today wouldn't recognize. Now computers are made so small and portable that you can put them in your pocket. My first cell phone was the standard Nokia antenna phone that looks like a dinosaur compared to the phones available today. This is my point. Technology is ever changing, as is how we use it. Our doctor's office has done away with medical charts and uses a tablet now to store medical patient information. We need technology to thrive in this world today. Taking that away from kids is not only stupid, but irresponsible as well. As far as having a cell phone or a personal computer, I don't think those are needed until the child is old enough to properly use them, or need them.

Hi there, What surprises me the most is how small the electronic devices are today. The Nano is about the size of a postage stamp. Link below for info. Not too long ago a cell phone was the size of a brick. Now you could wear one on your wrist. Now cell phones have computers inside, take photos and video, have GPS location apps and are small enough to put in your pocket. Now they are making semiconductor circuits that are one molecule thick (from graphite...think pencil lead). Also instead of spreading the circuits out they are stacking them vertically. did u read the container? it says something like first 5 days loading phase morning serving afternoon serving, then after a workout a serving. also on days u dont lift, take a serving in the morning. mass tech is protein and cell tech is creatine. u take them at the same time. take cell tech right after workout and mass tech 20minutes later and whenever else u feel like having a protein shake. in the future stay away from muscletech(it does work), but its way overpriced and u can get something just as good for much less. pure creatine monohydrate instead of cell tech and optimum nutrition whey instead of mass tech. email 4 q's

It depends on why he has it. If he downloaded it himself that's creepy but my husband gets stuff like that forwarded to him ALL. THE. TIME! He's a computer tech though so him and his co-workers always come across crazy sights like that and try to out do each other. He never erases stuff either.
