Internet Connection Bad When Not Charging

How can I prevent charging my phone, when it is connected to a PC via USB, for reverse tethering?

For this, Connect the last two wires and keep middle two wires remain connected. Due to this, your charging will be stop and it will only perform Reverse Tethering operation. This is the one and only solution for this.

How many people stil have dial-up internet connection?

Can car battery corrosion prevent my alternator from charging the battery?

So, my car battery went dead the other day, and jumping it did not seem to do anything. I called AAA, and on the first two tries, the AAA guy could not seem to charge my car battery with his battery charger either. He finally managed to charge it (and it charged within seconds!) only when he attached the charging cable directly onto the battery terminal (and not on the metal battery cable terminal attached to the battery post) - so it seemed to both of us that the connection between the battery terminal and the cable terminal is being screwed up by the corrosion on the terminal.

Anyway, now that he finally managed to charge the battery, I drove to school, but 7-8 hours later, when it was time to drive home, my battery was completely drained again, and I couldn't start my car. I managed to charge it again with the help from a friend (used her truck to charge my battery via jumper cables), but my question is - why did the battery get discharged so quickly? Why did the alternator not charge my battery? Can corrosion prevent the alternator from charging up my battery?

Additional details: the car battery is brand new (few days old); the alternator is working fine (the AAA guy tested it).

Thank you!

Why is the internet not free?

This is a question covering many factors, although still good. Let us remember what the internet is, it is a group of computer networks, which anybody can set up, that are connected around the world. Let's say I live in Brazil, and I want to connect to a network that is in Europe, and then to one in America. To establish a connection that far of a distance, you would need cables, as you mentioned earlier, and antennas. These cables go for thousands of miles, to reach different networks in the world and they sometimes go bad and need underwater maintenance, which is not cheap. Service providers come in and pay for all these costs, in exchange for a fee to maintain the cables, as well as make money. Now, you can decide to not pay a service provider and try to make these connection yourself, but it would be a hassle. Today, we connect to different networks around the world within milliseconds using service providers. If we did it ourselves, it would take hours to connect to multiple networks and maintain a good connection with them.

Hope this helps

Why does WhatsApp web work only when the phone is connected to the internet?

Hello,According to me and I also found on the FAQ of the WhatsApp site that;WhatsApp Web is a computer based extension of the WhatsApp account on your phone. The messages you send and receive are fully synced between your phone and your computer, and you can see all messages on both devices. Any action you take on the phone will apply to WhatsApp Web and vice versa. So, As it is just a extension who constantly synced your phone account to that Computer. That is why we needed our Phone is connected with the internet and it should not be running out of battery.=============================================But, Personally my belief is that I found it NOT USEFUL, seriously !!Because,It is given that the mobile should be in a condition to  receive the messages on WhatsApp.So that means, even though you are on  the web platform, you are supposed to keep your phone active. So it  rules out the possibility of the web platform being used in conditions  when the phone in unavailable.Like Charge /Battery Runs out.No access to Mobile Phone ( We forgot mobile at home and Want to use Whatsapp from other place )WhatsAPP   Web also has no use when the person do not have mobile DATA/ internet   access to mobile. ( If it has only internet on his Desktop). So as per above mentioned case, THERE IS NO USE of WhatsAPP Web and hence no increment in users, too.I am wondering why they launch this WhatsAPP web (This Kind of WEB Client ) , I didn't found any specific purpose on that !!===============================================

What could cause a laptop to not charge when turned on and plugged in to AC power? (Power cord is fine.)?

For those who have mentioned bad battery/bad charger/bad pin:

I thought of these things, but the following make me question that answer:

1. The charger works with the other laptop, and charges with no issues, even when plugged into the SAME outlet. It's the same computer, so if the charger were bad, I assume it wouldn't charge another laptop of the same make and model.

2. The battery works with no issues in BOTH machines (the one that won't charge and the one that will). I guessed it could be a bad battery a while ago, but since it charges AND works in the other Acer, I can't see how it could be a bad battery.

3. It MAY be a pin issue or a connection to the motherboard, but if it is, why would the battery charge at ALL? It does charge when the machine is off. So some power is getting to the battery somehow.

*frustrated*! Thanks!
