FM Radio on iPod Touch (3rd Gen)?
I had a iPod Video, and purchased an FM Radio adapter so I could listen to the radio on my iPod. I upgraded to the new iPod Touch that just recently came out, adn the FM Radio adapter doesn't work on it. Is there any way to get FM radio on an iPod Touch? I know I can listen to Internet Radio, but I need wi-fi for that, which I don't always have access to.

Yes and no. It depends on you. If you like iOS and have a lot of music and media in iTunes, the iPod touch is a very nice media consumption device that gives you access to iOS App and the Internet. It’s actually a very nice hand-held computer. This is provided you don't need a phone, as it does everything a typical iPhone does except make cellular network phone calls. (You can actually make phone calls on an iPod Touch within a WiFi network with the touch using VoIP apps like Skype, etc.)It’s a good bargain next to getting an iPhone to do the same thing if you don’t need the phone part, particularly since Apple has significantly raised their phone prices this year, starting at $700 (up from $350).However, if you just need it for listening to music, podcasts, or audio books, try to find a smaller new iPod that might still be on the shelves someplace or an audio player from another company. It’s a sad fact that Apple has abandoned the portable audio player market that they so carefully and successfully grew during the Steve Jobs era. They made the best players at a variety of price points with excellent build quality. Now they just make the iPod Touch, and for how much longer…Nobody knows.

If you just plan to use the iPod Touch for basic Internet usage, YouTube, music and that sort of thing, you shouldn't have any problems using it (although it might be a bit slower). If you need something that can run the latest games and have up-to-date social networking apps, look elsewhere.So with that in mind, is the iPod Touch 5 worth buying?This model of iPod Touch seems to be available on eBay for around $90-$250 (AUD) depending on the amount of storage and condition. An iPhone 4S (with basically the same specs + cellular connectivity and GPS) can be found on eBay for $150 (again AUD) or less. So for the same price, you can get what is basically an iPod Touch, but can also call and text.If you can find an iPod Touch (5th Gen) super cheap and you only need it for playing music and other light tasks, then go for it, or look for an iPhone 4S that can do the job for you. What triggers an iPod touch to crash?
One reason for the crashing may be you have no space on the unit. Go into your general setting and look at what the Touch came with, for instance 16gb and see what you currently have on there. It you are getting close to capacity it would crash frequently.This happened with my iPad. I did two things. I took off things I didn't need on it like apps I never used and most photos. This freed lots of space. Then I did a hard reset. Like it was a new iPad. It cleanedit off and freed lots of space and have not had the problem again. Good luck.
