Mnet channel in america (comcast) 2ne1 tv?
Comcast doesn't have one. I have DirecTV, which offers most Korean channels and they only offer Cable TV that is from Big 3 (like MBC Every1, SBS PLUS, KBS World), no tvN, MNet, or any other cable channels like that. Your best bet would be to just download them somewhere. (hanindisk.com, diskfam.com, etc... you would have to pay but they do offer pretty much everything.
Is Kpop overrated or is it really taking over the world?
if it is spreading, its not a disease i actually wouldnt want it to spread. i like being the only person who doesnt say "what the hell are they saying xO" when i turn on my favorite ipod songs xD i prefer kpop to american pop, it has more meaning in many of its songs. (not saying all american songs DONT have meanings but you know most of it is based on Drugs, Parties, etc. ) and koreans do have some sort of pride. ehh i'd say in my school if i took a poll to see how many knew what kpop was, (and my school is very diverse, half of them are asian) only 1/16 know what kpop is. so i doubt its gonna TAKE OVER THE WORLD or something like that. x)

Kpop is still like a closet addiction. People who get to know it might feel weird at first, until they really get into it. As Jon Rosen noted, you're not going to hear household names when you're not into kpop, the exception being those that somehow go viral.BoA has been in a US movie with Dancing With The Stars' lead Derek Hough. 2NE1 (twenty-one/twen-knee-one/) has gotten exposure from The Bachelor (Juan Carlos' season when they visited Seoul) and Dancing With The Stars (Mark and Jenna, couple of seasons ago). Psy had a viral video with Gangnam Style. f(x) was on Funny or Die with Anna Kendrick. From the tidbits I catch unintentionally by feed, it seems that 2NE1 is the biggest household name for kpop. I'm personally not even a fan, although I like their biggest old hit, it's catchy.If you look outside of Asia, Super Junior has had lots of international tours, including countries in Europe and South America. EXO is doing a US tour and is supposed to hit Texas (I'm not up to date on the schedule). I am sure other groups such as Big Bang have been to multiple states, and there are a lot of artists for KCON in L.A. every year. As the appreciation for kpop keeps growing, I'm sure there will be a positive change in the coming decade, as more closet kpop lovers admit that they were fans long before you were.

Why do Kpop bands/singers never come to Canada?
Like everrrrrrrrrr. I'm so disappointed Big Bang and 2NE1 aren't coming to Canada. I know sooooooo many VIPs here :S or people who like kpop. i'm surprised korean bands don't realise this?
How big a deal were Wonder Girls, and how would you assess their impact on K-Pop vis a vis 2NE1?
Well to start off, Wonder Girls literally made songs that were national anthems to countries all over the world. “Nobody” was a huge success and made an impact worldwide.Not only that, but if I wasn’t mistaken, Wonder Girls even opened for the Jonas Brothers at their concerts. Obviously, this made them spread all the way to the United States thus bringing Kpop to a whole new level.For your information, BTS are NOT the first kpop group to spread Kpop to the US, and people who believe that they are, are either discrediting Wonder Girls, or just simply overlook their success as they are a senior group. I could compare Wonder Girls’ success with top artists like SNSD, and like you mentioned, 2NE1 any day. (Oh look, it’s the Big Three)We should all raise our cups to toast Wonder Girls because they put JYP up there with the Big Three. JYP never would have reached its success today had Wonder Girls not been one of JYP’s first successful groups.As much as I love the actual queens of YG, to me, Wonder Girls was more successful more as a global act. I’m not saying that 2NE1 wasn’t popular in the states, I’m just saying that they didn’t make it big enough in the US to make such a big impact on Americans specifically. Also, I’m going to put this out there, it at one point in the region where I live (Los Angeles), you were considered a loser for not liking “I’m the Best” so hail to the queens of YG Entertainment.Although I still like 2NE1 more than Wonder Girls. I would say that Wonder Girls’ success isn’t something that people can overlook because of 2NE1.
