Is Alabama Ready For The Beating That Texas A

Will Alabama go 15-0 this season?

I think that type year is not likely because of coaching changes everywhere on team. Some signs of decline were starting to appear on defense. Expected to do just that losing Kirby Smart and Jeremy Pruitt. Even Bama is human to circumstance eventually. This year I believe 7 or 8 coaches left, and some talent that was most of their leadership guys also. They will not be better in my opinion and possibly lose some steam somewhere in season. They are still probably the best team in the nation, but that may look like 13–2. Regardless of the coaching worse, in two years and beyond teams are going to be closer that usual to Bama. And several of them. I think Georgia was the first of 3–4 programs ready to compete at that level. Texas AM, and LSU are every season matchups that become stumbles. Then Auburn and Florida are difficult if sandwiched between LSU and maybe Georgia in SEC Championship Game. Just more invested programs that will be about impossible to stay spotless against in several seasons to come. When 2–3 teams get better in sec west that creates back to back to back situations that are very hard to manage. But I imagine 13–2, maybe 12–3 would be worst case. Still amazing but a change for sure.

Can a team of the best college football players beat a bottom ranked NFL team?

It's possible, but not likely. However, if this question were re-cast as whether some college football team (not necessarily the "best" one) could consistently beat the worst (or a particular) NFL team then the answer would be absolutely yes.The biggest difference between an NFL team and a college team is the level of talent; however, this can be overcome. Look at a team like Boise State or Oregon State or Utah where the level of talent recruited cannot compare at all with teams like USC or Alabama, yet still have a good chance of winning. Talent can be overcome by coaching, scheme, and specific matchups. The assumption that NFL coaches are superior to college coaches is incorrect. Case in point, look at Pete Carroll currently coaching for the Seattle Seahawks. While formerly at USC, Carroll was consistently out-coached by opposing coaches with _vastly_ physically inferior teams that defeated his Trojans such as Stanford's Jim Harbaugh, Oregon State's Mike Riley, and Washington's Steve Sarkisian; the point being that superior coaches do exist at the college ranks than some NFL coaches. I took an example of a specific head coach but more specific examples can also be made for OC and DC. For an example of scheme, look at Chris Ault's pistol offense which was used to completely dismantle Cal's defense coached by former St Louis Rams DC Clancy Pendergast earlier this year. Clearly, unconventional offensive or defensive schemes can be used to win against and in this case dominate a former NFL coach and a team with significantly better talent at every single position (except QB). Also consider the execution of the scheme. Is it plausible to think that a Colin Kaepernick or Kellen Moore running their respective offenses for 3-4 years could run their offense better than say Alex Smith trying to run the 49ers offense after going through four different OCs in 4 years? In summary, a team like Alabama or USC with conventional schemes IMO has no chance vs. an NFL team. However, do I believe a Boise State, Oregon, or Nevada with their superior coaching and unconventional offensive schemes defeat a bad NFL team consistently? Absolutely yes.

Is deer hunting and fishing as bad as dog fighting?

I had the same thought but after discussing this with some intelligent people I realized how stupid it is to compare dogfighting to hunting. First, off, although there are a great number of people who hunt just for sport, the majority of hunters are people hunting in rural areas who are hunting to either feed themselves and their family or keep the population of the deer, bear, etc. under control. Hunters kill their prey in the quickest and most humane way possible. They try for quick kill to ensure the animal suffers as little as possible. Dogfighting, on the other hand, is quite the opposite. A "good" dogfight is one in which the animal fight for a long time with lots of "action", this prolongs the animals suffering as much as possible. Then there is also the "training" that is implemented to prepare to dog's. This generally includes starvation and other means that are used to enrage the dog and get him ready to fight. Then you have the ways in which the dogs are actually killed. This is either by the other dog in the ring or out in the back woods as we have all heard by now. So again, hunting is, for the most part, conducted in the most humane way possible. Dog fighting is about as cruel and inhumane as it gets. That is the big difference and that is why it is just plain stupid to compare the two.

Do you think texans are mean or racist?

Honestly there are people like that everywhere in this world - I am sorry you had a bad experience here. Houston has large Asian community. 40-50K Vietnamese, 50-60K Korean, 80-90K Chinese 75K, Indian 50K, Pakistan, ect.

I hope you won't let the actions of one individual or a few taint your impression of our city or state. I swear to you we are among the friendliest people around. Friendship is the state motto. God Bless

Will LSU win a national championship in football before the end of this decade?

LSU? It is unlikely. You’re talking in a matter of 4 years when they’ve shown no obvious signs of rising to the top. I personally think that Les has become complacent in his position and could benefit from a team change. It’s not that LSU is doing all that bad. It’s just the greatest moments they’ve had recently have been absolutely squashed by Alabama. Look at their “heisman winning” running back. He ran for a meager 31 yards against Bama. Sure this is only one example, but I feel like it exemplifies LSU recently.Furthermore, there are other teams on the up and up that have a considerable higher probability of cracking the national championship. Just to name a few,ClemsonClemson (personal bias) has the nation’s pre season heisman winner at quarterback as well as a consistent improvement/recruiting class the past 4 years. They are one of 4 (? not sure) teams to have won 10+ games 4 straight years. Furthermore, they have one of the youngest starting rosters in the country. With the addition of Mike Williams after his season ending neck injury early last this season, along with a recruiting class to give the Tigers much needed depth, they are poised to be another threat in next year’s season.MichiganMichigan has arguably the greatest wave of enthusiasm its seen in quite a long time with the return of Harbaugh. They looked strong early this season (I had them picked to make the playoffs), but inexperience with the high level they were operating at got the better of them. They remind me of OSU after Meyer’s arrival. Obvious potential, but they need a year or two to fully develop. Provided there are no Michigan State games the rest of this decade, they should be in good condition.Stanford, OUStanford and OU are two strong what I’d consider tier 2 contenders. They are both solid programs with good promise, but aren’t quite ready to top the world in the playoffs.Of course in this list I haven’t mentioned Bama for obvious reasons. They can break at any year, that’s how good they are. But LSU is probably in that next category of tier 3 teams along with a lot of the ACC hype like UNC and FSU. They might have a more than disappointing season before seeing a real chance at the playoffs. Then again, this is all my unprofessional opinion. I’m sure you’re biased too and have different perspectives. So in this fan’s head, no they do not.

Is the level of high school football higher in Texas or California?

Texas takes it more seriously, like the guy above me said. We work harder, year-round. Just look at South Lake Carroll, the powerhouse High-School football team of the nation. (They were ranked number one again in the nation in the preseason poll according to ESPN.) They don't have the greatest talent, you rarely see any of there players on Rivals.com as a five-star recruit, but they have tremendous heart and work-ethic. If you want to play varsity football over there, you better be ready to work like a bull. They also play great together as a team, since most of the players have been playing together for years. Florida and California have great talent, but I doubt that they train like we do down here in Texas. We also have great talent down here as well. In my opinion, if the best Texas team, South Lake Carroll, were to play the best Florida or Californian team, the Carroll Dragons would win.
