Is An Acura Tsx 2008 Worth Being Worked On

2008 Audi A3 vs 2008 Acura Tsx?

I love all Audi products, In fact, im selling my 2005 Acura NSX Targa to get a 2008 Audi RS4 Quattro 6speed.

Frankly the A3 is way over priced and is not going to hold its value unfortunately; Your better off getting a used A3.

OR.. For the same money, you can get a faster car. The VW Rabbit GTI 32. I know, I know.. its NOT an Audi, well your wrong. It is the same plat form, made by the same company. It is faster, you get more for your Dollar, it holds it value and it has a better resale value.

Unless your hard up in over paying for a the A3, that historically does not to hold its value then there is nothing any one can say or do to change your mind.

The Acura will have the best resale value with the masses. So, If you’re ok with buying a car design for lemmings, then the Acura is your best bet.

My suggestion is to consider leasing or buy a previously owned car with low miles and under warranty. Don’t sit on it for too long or it will plummet like a lead balloon in value.

Extended Warranty for 2012 Acura TSX worth it?

Hi,

I was given a quote of $1,500 for a 7 year, 70k plan for the extended warranty on a 2012 TSX I am picking up tomorrow. Is this a good deal?

I saw a cheaper quote online from Acura Care - extensive coverage beyond the original Acura warranty
$900 for the same deal.

Has anyone used Curry Acura Care? Does it offer the same coverage?
The financial manager said that I can only buy the extended warranty now at the point of sale instead of later. If I purchase the extended warranty later, the coverage changes. Is this accurate? Thank you.

Can the acura tsx be fast?

i was thinking about getting one but some people say you cant modify it too much. i heard something about a k24/ K20 hybrid but overall can you modify it alot or should i just get the rsx type s. which is better. fuel wise and performance wise

Should I buy a used Acura RDX?

So, I posted this a couple of years ago, & see that people have followed.I ended up buying a new 2015 RDX, and then upgraded to a 2017 last November. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car. It's reliable, drives like a dream, & is very comfortable on my frequent 9 hour trips. I have had absolutely NO problems with either one. There is a ton of space in the hatch, lots of legroom in the backseat, and the front seats are designed with comfort in mind. Mileage is pretty good (not great, but I live in a city), & have seen upwards of 29 Mph on the highway…usually when the tank is full. Of course, there are little things I would like better, such as: I added rain guards to my windows on the first one, because the aerodynamics are such that even cracking the window a little in a good rainstorm gets you wet. I'm short, & would like my seatbelt to adjust a little better (but those little cushions fixed it mostly). The NAV system & internal phone/message system can be a little confusing. But since I wanted to stay with a Honda product, i can say that I am really happy with my choice. I've had 3 Audis in the past, & while I never tested the Q5 (out of my price range & I knew I'd probably love it), I couldn't be happier with my Acura.

Lexus IS250 AWD vs Acura TSX?

Neither I would get a Lincoln MKZ with AWD for $32,000

How does Audi A4 compare to Acura TSX?

I was just asked this question a couple days ago and I feel that both are good choices but I would go with the Audi.

Here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
Style (This car has the best styling among luxury cars, there is no cheap plastic feel in the car)
Luxury
Safety (Even without its quattro AWD, the Audi A4 platform was rated the highest by the governement among the luxury sedans)
Uniqueness (How many more Acuras you see everyday vs an Audi?)

Cons:
Reliability (Depends on how long you're keeping your car)
Price
Gas prices

I own an Audi S4 2007, and I have friends who drive Acura TLs as well as the TSX. Both of these cars will give you around 200 HP. In terms of luxury and and style Audi will beat the Acura hands down. When you get into an Audi you'll always notice a difference in the quality of the seats, and the styling. The closest thing I've come to experience this was when I was in my friends new Lexus IS Series.

While the guys above me do have a point about the reliability of Audis. I think you deserve a clarification.

YES Audis are expensive to maintain especially since it is a German car. However, the Audi will only experience problems towards the 70,000 mile mark. From the people I've met, (who all take good care of their cars) their Audis (from TTs to A4s and S4s) have all been reliable until the 70,000 mile mark.

If you want, think of the Audi A4 as the perfect balance between safety, performance, and style. It's not going to be too fast, but it will still be a joy to drive, I know I still do :)

In short go with the Audi A4, and if that's not your taste, I'd also recommend the Audi TT which alot of my female friends adore.

Acura TSX Fuel Requirement 91 or 87?

You can use a lower grade gas. You will probably get the best economy from 89 octane. The car's computer will make adjustments to the timing depending on hat octane rating you use. High octane gas is used to prevent detonation (pre-ignition from heat) in high compression vehicles (e.g. turbo or supercharged).

Your salesman is an idiot.
