I think I have oral thrush?
Hey, So my tongue is slightly white at the back and giving me a weird sensation the past 2 days. By slightly white I mean just at the back it looks like slight whiteness and my tongue pattern is more pronounced in said area. -also the whiteness seems to be progressing very lightly towards the tip of my tongue staying more to the side. Not very noticeable at the front but pretty noticeable at the back. The numbness or tingling is moderate meaning it’s not too bad but it’s not too mild like it’s annoying. Gargling warm salt water helped me almost instantly. Does this sound like thrush to you? I was on antibiotics all week so possibly they caused a build up of this? And if it is thrush it doesn’t seem like a reason for emergency treatment so are there any supplements you could recommend me or should I see a doctor?
Oral thrush from oral sex?
ok, i think i have oral thrush, lots of ulcers in my mouth that are really painful i have had ulcers before but never this bad. and i got them a few days after my boyfriend went down on me. and he kissed me later on that night.. He doesn't have any ulcers, and neither of us have STDs or HIV or anything. could i have caught oral thrush from myself? without him contracting it? i've been very tired lately, so im pretty run down, could this have increased the chances? please help!

Oral thrush and bad breath relation?
Hello,I believe I have had oral thrush for many years and it has went undiagnosed.My inside cheeks has a whitish streak on them and a film that looks like slime/jelly that I can move with my tongue.If I remember correctly my cheeks have always been completely pink with nothing white on them. I believe this is the culprit of my chronic bad breath that I have had for many,many years 24 hrs a day.I never questioned this whitish film and did not believe it could be anything. My tongue is also coated and this appeared around the bad tonsillitis and never cleared up.I was treated with antibiotics once for this infection.I had them removed in 1997.I also have a not so clean taste/ bad taste that never left.Several internet doctors say my description is definitely thrush and also that this is the cause of my bad breath.Once treated,they say the bad breath usually go away because it is a fungal infection. Could this be correct? I've always taken care of my dental....

Obviously I’m not a dental or medical professional, but from my reading bad breath can come from both your mouth and your stomach. So if you’re not eating right, that can be a cause. Also, you don’t have to disclose here how you got oral thrush, but think about what caused it and if maybe that has something to do with what’s going on. For example, dry mouth can be caused by certain types of medication — as can oral thrush (I know this from experience). So maybe there’s a connection there somewhere.Getting on a good, natural diet is really important, and I’m glad you’ve taken that step. Can oral thrush or fungal infection in mouth cause bad breath?
Almost never. Candida in the mouth has no strong odor except for a mild sweetish smell. Thrush, as long as it is mild, does not invade deeply.
