Is It Enough To Run Half And Hour Every Day And Walk At Least 30 Minute A Day Should I Do More

How much weight can you lose in 28 days by walking 30 minutes daily?

HEY!First things first, losing weight depends on two main factors :1.How many calories you burn (Physical Activity) :The thumb rule is for every 1 minute you walk you burn approx 6-7 calories. So if you just walk for 30 mins you will be burning close to 200 calories per day.For 28 days, you would be burning 5600 calories. Now for every 7000 extra calories you burn you lose 1kg.So you would be losing less than a kg weight just by this exercise. So I would advise you to check option two.2.How many calories you eat (Diet :Calorie intake):This involves intaking less calories in the first place. You can go on a calorie deficit 1000-1500 diet. Assuming your BMR = 1900 calories, if you follow this you will be burning more than 900 calories extra per day and in 28 days you will be burning close to 25000 calories, which will result in weight loss of 3.6kg!!The choice is all yours :)I hope that helps.

Is 30 minutes of cardio 6 days a week enough?

Yes...it is probably more than enough. Have you consulted a physician about the workout you are doing--in conjunction with the diet you are on? It just seems like a crash diet...and of course you know that that is not the best way to lose weight. "They" say a pound to a pound and a half a week is a good way to lose weight and keep it off.

I'll never forget a lovely young woman I met at a party a few years ago. She was about 23, and strapped into some sort of contraption that allowed her to walk upright despite some serious paralysis that was the result of a stroke. It all seemed very unusual to me that someone that young would have a stroke, and I asked her if she knew what caused it.

She described a rigorous exercise plan and diet, and then a skiing day on an empty stomach. Her system was deprived of potassium because of the diet, she was at a high elevation and having a day of strenuous exertion--too much for her poor body...

I'm sure there are others who will say that your self-prescribed program is fine; you are the only one who actually knows what your own exercise history has been. Talking with a nutritionist and medical expert would be the best means of getting a reasonable appraisal of a good diet and exercise plan.

Do Golden Retrievers really need 8 miles of walking per day?

My dog gets hyper --he is a 1 year old Golden Retriever and I hear he will calm down as he gets older. For exercise I either I take him to the park and sit and let him play, I play fetch with him, take him hiking sometimes for 3-5 miles, take him fishing, on errands with me--he is calm in the house, run him alongside my bike, walk him 2-4 miles a day. I will exercise him at least once per day, but shoot for twice a day of any of these things and he will always get either a bike ride, hike, or walk just to get out and if i'm lazy i'll just throw the ball for him for the second exercise or skip it and if i'm not lazy/busy i'll walk him again.

My mom said she read something that large dogs need 8 miles walking per day and that this is why my dogs gets hyper and chews up every dog bed we buy when you are not looking. Hes usually easy going and well behaved but like right now he is just pacing around trying to get me to play with him...I can not play with him 24/7 or walk him 8 miles...I just can't I have things to do. I was like "who walks their dogs 8 miles per day" and my moms like, "responsible dog owners do." (she walks he Lab likes once or twice a week so I do not no why she is getting after me I do the best I can with my dog.........but I feel like it is not enough. What do you think--how much exercise do Golden Retrievers really need daily to be happy/healthy? My dog is healthy and happy but he seems like he does not get enough exercise, I consider myself an active person..but maybe not active enough for a dog?

The vet and all the techs go on about how "calm and behaved he is...especially for his age it is amazing" I kind of picked up on the "for his age" ...will he calm down as he gets older is he just an overgrown puppy still? He is like a horse hes thin but tall/big boned and just huge so even just standing still he takes up alot of room much less when hes acting like a horse on top of it.
