Do you prefer Japanese cars or German???
Im not a car expert, i just want to see what you guys suggest?????????? Although i heard from millions of people that japenese cars last long..second german then american? thats what i heard???
Why do Americans despise german cars??
I haven't a clue where that question came from, but I've driven old Mercedes diesels for years, and I hope I NEVER have to drive another American or Jap car. My old German cars were built for longevity, and I'll keep driving them 'til the wheels fall off. If anybody (including the Americans) built a car as well as my German cars were built, I'd be more inclined to buy something else.
Why new German cars are much cheaper in USA than in Germany?
I've also noticed this.... I found out that USA has a way lower tax rate on cars.... therefore they are way cheaper... The same can be said for houses... Its not only germany thats like that with higher prices, its the whole of Europe..I live in the UK, london... and yes cars standard engines are like 1.6/1.8.. thats because thats what appeals to the European market as you have to pay a lot of road tax for bigger engines.. as Europe are dramactically trying to cut down on emissions.. (stupid global warming).. In the USA they car manufacturers know, that they don't really care about emmisions, and like to have bigger engines... (thats why i wanna go to america so much),, So theres not much point selling small engine cars to the USA, not many will be sold... thats why they make bigger engines standard there... I saw a VW Beetle (popular there, not here) and it had a 2.0l as standard... yet on the uk one, there was no such thing as a 2.0l option,,,the biggest we can get is 1.5l.... Have you seen the uk VW page.... compare that to the german and us ones... And you don't get all the cars we get here... on vw... Many people in the UK refer to the US as a "free country".. really low tax rates... the only thing that is more expensive there is laptops and phones... dont know why... Hope I could help !!
