Can a phone work without a SIM card? Why or why not?
Well...Let's go with a YES....a phone, that is: the device today known as a smartphone, which employs -in some occassions- a SIM card- can work without a SIM, providing that :If you want to use that device as a phone, cellular phone, then NO, it won't work. It requires the SIM card to be able to "enable" so to say, the actual phone number and then connect and identify itself to a cellular network and ultimately place and receive cellular phone calls.Now, it you want to use that very same device with or without a SIM card for:WiFi based Internet purposes (navigation, downloading pictures, movies, music)...Music listening.Movie / video watching.Pictures taking with the camera.Any internet based communications (hangouts, skype, etc. -WhatsApp may depend on having had, at least once, an operational SIM card tough-)Then your phone WILL perfectly work fine, as all this activities, (except perhaps for WhatsApp activation), do not require, nor depend on a SIM card and the functionality this SIM provides.

The casinos only keep tape records of gaming floor activity for 7 days, 10 days maximum (according to a casino security investigator who said that the tapes from that night are likely already rewritten or destroyed). Aside from an ATM surveillance camera picking up somebody who perhaps resembles me facially (a long shot, but a possibility nonetheless), there's nothing more than circumstantial evidence that they can glean just to so much as hazard a guess as to who made the withdrawals. Outside the casino walls, anything goes - presumably any criminal with so much as a single brain cell would wear a ski mask or some other sort of disguise to avoid being identified. Not all criminals are that bright, but being educated myself, I have to assume some level of intellect. Unless federal statute claims that I'm guilty until proven innocent (on account of the withdrawals being inside a casino), I doubt the bank has much recourse, so hopefully I'll see my cash refunded soon.

Your bank is not going to approve any loan until these two things happen you might be able to swing it if you had a cosigner with good credit. you have a few things right so good job for that. 0 balance on the credit cards is good and putting money in savings is a obonus for you. 25 percent of gross should go to savings and if you have not already sign up for automatic deposit with thour pay check in checkings. Ans pay all your bills through checking. What this does is let the bank see your spending habits. This is important when assessing your loan application at a later date. What does he like that he might like outside? Is he in the Boy Scouts? If not he should. They do a lot of great stuff for boys 11-18. Camping, Hiking, Fishing, Community Service, etc... With the bombardment of TV and computer Gaming he needs to get out. Computer Games are a very lazy gift. Games are fun but go outside and no Fast Food or Trans-fats!
