Transfer college during spring semester as a freshman?

You're never stuck.

To transfer to another school in January 2010, the deadline is somewhere in October or November, depending on the school. Most of your credits should transfer there cleanly, unless they're specialty 300-level or higher classes (which you wouldn't be taking as a freshman). For many engineering programs, it's 200 level or higher that may not transfer cleanly. But as a freshman, you wouldn't be taking many of those.

Can you transfer to UCLA after freshman year in another college?

You can try…and possibly be accepted….if your SAT Score and grades are good. There is no “law” or “regulation” saying no…as far as I know. Good luck!I might add this: the tuition at any UC Campus is currently over $10,000 a year..while at any California State University the tuition is about $4000 or more LESS…. The quality of undergrad education is good at the Cal States….mostly taught by Phd.s while many classes at UC’s are taught by graduate students. I would take all the above into consideration before transferring to a UC for a BA. For graduate school it might make more sense to attend a UC?

Transfer after only a semester of community college?

It really depends on whether or not you meet the transfer student admission requirements at the University of Maryland College Park. Sometimes colleges will allow students with less than 24 transferrable credits if their SAT scores fulfill their admission requirements for first time freshman. Contact the University of Maryland College Park for more information on what their transfer student admission requirements are.

Best wishes to you!

Could i transfer to a different college after the first semester?

It depends on how the university defines a transfer student. For example, some universities (like mine), defines a transfer student as someone who has completed at least 24 transferrable college credits at another institution.

Others will define a transfer student as someone who has (or will) completed 12 credits for at least one semester at another institution.

The bible college you're considering will have a transfer student page on their website (located under Admissions), clearly stating what makes someone a transfer student in regards to credits.

Can you switch colleges after one semester??

Yes, you can absolutely transfer but as a rule the higher ranking the university the longer it will take to get admitted into another school due to more entrance requirements and limited spots available. A community college or local university should be able to accommodate you. It will take some work and time on your part. The flipside would be to stick it out for the year, concentrate on your courses, get your credits and begin the process of transferring gradually with a goal of the following year. Good luck, where there is a will there is a way.
