Is it safe to post a picture of me on Yahoo! Answers?
I want to ask a question on what type of face shape I have and what type of hair type I have so I can find the appropriate hairstyle that suits me. That’s why I’m posting a pic of me on Yahoo! Answers, but is it really safe? What if my pic gets on the wrong hands? And for my question I think I know what type of hair I have but I’m still asking just to make sure. So is it really safe?
Why shouldn't you post pictures of yourself online?
Who cars if someone saved your photo to **** too. More serious is this. I knew a girl who had a friend who got told from a guy friend she was on a porn website. After her friend showed what he saw she saw this website took her Facebook picture and cut her head to paste it on a naked body. This is reallllllllly common. She sued the company and won a lot of money. Like millions. And what if her friend was her boss. What if your boss sees a cut n paste pic of you on porn thinking it was really you.

Yeah, it really is really dangerous. My friend once showed me this newspaper article about a girl that posted her picture online for a modeling company and she got kidnapped. In the end, they figured out that the people that kidnapped her were people that went to her school that tracked her IP address and found her house address (they worked in a engeneering computer design company). Please don't post your picture online. It doesn't matter if you put personal information down or not. x
Is posting pictures of yourself online considered dangerous?
It is dangerous if you give too much info. A few examples: Your school uniform if identifiable A background that identifies your school Your full name Specific location If I was a paedophile you would be giving me all the info I needed to abduct you. Likewise in chat rooms. I could be a 12 year old girl or 16 year old lad on screen although I am 57 in real life. You would have no way of knowing, I could post any photo. Just imagine, I talk boys with you, fashion, bands. I say I live near you. Oh lets meet up and shop. Next thing you could be raped or dead. Always be careful and be safe.

No. Do you mean just picture of you and your friends or like, naked pictures? Just fun pictures are fine but don't put ANY naked pictures on line, or even revealing pictures because colleges sometimes look at your facebook or websites to see what you're like. Unless you're already in our graduated college. But still don't do it, because there are pedophiles out there.

okay so lately my stomach has been looking more toned and curvier, and my mom just bought me a full body mirror; and my best friend and I have been thinking of posting a bikini pic on ig. but the thing is I don't want to be labeled as a slut, I have NEVER post a 'scandolous' or 'provacotive' picture on instagram, and I just started highschool and I want to become a little more "popular ( it sounds SO immature as im typing this and I know posting a half naked picture is the worst way to get attention) but im feeling a little more bold lately. I just want my instagram to be more interesting and ugh I don't know.. what do you think?
