Is My Computer Getting Too Hot

My computer is getting hot on one side?

If this new issue then try blowing out the breather vents under and to the side/back of the laptop. They tend to get clogged with lent and stuff. If it is still running hot you may have a bad fan. Take it to a tech.

You may look into buying one of those laptop cooling trays.
Here is a link to one that BestBuy has. You may find one on sale for under about $20.

I hope this helps, Good Luck

Is 51C too hot for my computer?

That's a bit warm. Did you install a good CPU heatsink and fan? You might also consider adding some internal case fans so that you have good air circulation and exhaust. When I build my rigs now I use only Cooler Master cases as I can load them up with plenty of cooling power.

Good Luck!

My computer is getting hot on one side?

The side my computer is getting hot on is the side with the exhaust and my computer is fairly new (about a year) but I'm worried that its getting too hot. My computer is on a hard flat surface (desk) and I know its supposed to be but I think that might be the problem. When the fan is blowing air out some of the air is being blown out the side but some of the air is (I think) being blown directly down and on to the desk which my laptop is sitting on and my laptop is a Acer (aspire 7551-7422) which is heavy so I think the hot air may have difficulty flowing which is what causes the heat. My core temp gets to about 88 or maybe to 90 ( haven't seen it yet but its only been a few days since I installed the core temp monitorand I've been somewhat careful withit too so two degrees isn't really that much of a stretch). Is that too high?

My computer monitor is hot?

No, this is a natural occurrence, if you have a somewhat old monitor. If it is new, you still don't have to worry.

Is there a way to prevent my CPU from getting too hot while rendering videos?

I render videos using Sony Vegas Pro 12 and it's just come to my attention that my processor hits around 80°C when I render videos. An article I read on a website said that 75-80°C is too hot. This whole thing came to my attention when my computer overheated the other day when I was rendering a video and playing a game at the same time (yes I know this is not good for it either). I also have a default heatsink that came with the processor (AMD FX Zambezi 4.3GHz). Is there a way I can keep my processor from hitting these temperatures when I render videos?

Computer gets really hot when I'm watching porn?

Hi. I have a Microsoft Surface computer and I noticed that it gets extremely hot when I'm watching porn. Anyone else notice this too? I don't leave any programs open in the background or anything so I guess watching porn is just really hard on the computer?
When I watch porn I like to get completely naked and then set the Surface face-up on my leg, but after several minutes I have to take it off or it would burn my skin.

My Laptop Has Been Getting Really Hot?

Usually when a laptop gets really hot it is caused by dust/hair blocking the vents and not letting the fan do its job. Or it could be the fan is not working.

If you do not hear the fan turn on ever, or if the fan sounds like it is grinding or buzzing, chances are the fan is dead and will need to be replaced.

If the fan sounds fairly normal, you should be able to just check to see if it has too much dust. Some models of laptop will let you blow some air into the vents (Try a can of compressed air or an air compressor on a low PSI). If possible blow air into the bottom towards the vent in the side. You should see some dust coming out. If that does not help or no dust comes out, I would recommend taking it to a local laptop repair place to be checked out. Overheating can cause damage to other things if left alone.

Is there a computer that doesn't get too hot if you're outside working on it?

The reason most laptops get so hot is that they are used in the lap, where the ventilation becomes blocked so even with the fan running, the computer cannot cool. “Laptop” computers should always be used atop a lapboard in order to maintain temperature control as designed.
