Is Possible To Revive Green Pool Water

Can a turtle survive in cold water?

Can a turtle survive in cold water? Red-eared sliders not only can survive in cold water, they do so in the wild, every year. Throughout much of the area that red-eared turtles live, the lakes and ponds they live in get quite cold during the winter. The water temperature is often 40 F and the ponds occasionally freeze over.In fact, this is one reason they are listed as an invasive species in several states. For instance, in Oregon, red-ears have such a listing. This turtle isn’t native to the western US, but there are now breeding populations in many ponds in Oregon. Yearly air temperatures drop well below freezing in Oregon, in the winter, so most ponds freeze over every year. Yet, the population of wild red-eared turtles in Oregon goes merrily along. Our two female red-eared sliders (both females) are kept in a 55-gallon aquarium, 3/4 filled with water and with rocks at one end so they can get out of the water when they choose. The tank isn’t heated, but since it is in the house, the water is never as cold as it gets outdoors in the winter. They’ve thrived in this arrangement for 12 years. However, if we had a pond outdoors, there is little doubt that they would survive much colder water temperatures than ours experience. As long as the water doesn’t freeze solid and the turtles have access to mud and vegetation, they should be fine in cold water. They are more sensitive right after they hatch, but that usually happens in the spring, so in about six months, they become tough enough to withstand and flourish in cold water.

How do you clear up cloudy pool water?

There could be many reasons why your water is getting cloudy. Chemical imbalance (chlorine levels too high or close to none, high pH or calcium hardness etc.) for one.Other is the problem with filtration, which you want to be up to speed for at least 8h a day. If your pump is not pulling old water out of pool into filter and back clean into pool, water becomes stagnant making it to turn cloudy. Most important thing is to backwash your filter from time to time. If you will not do that, filter will become clogged and will not do its thing.Bottom line is, there is no FAST way to clear your water from being cloudy. If it turned green/black as well then it will take many days, lots of chemicals and constant filtration, backwashing your filter to waste, more chemicals, more vacuuming and more backwashing. To get your water clear again you need to:Test your chemicals and adjust accordinglyBackwash the hell out of your filter (remember to top up water)Shock it with chlorine (if it turned green as well as cloudy, use strong liquid Sodium Hypochlorite), or use chlorine reducer if the opposite is your problem (remember if you put too much it will eat away all of your chlorine)Keep your filtration on for as long as your pool water comes back clearRepeat the above until problem solved.(obviously do NOT backwash with chemicals you just put in as it will just go to waste)You can also use pool water clarifier, but the above is your best course of action. This is the method we use to revive green/cloudy pools in UK, where weather also contributes to these problems. Never seen any of them turn clear the same day though.

What happens if you pass out under water?

do you start breathing in water or does your body automatically stop breathing? Idk I remember my sister told me once when we were at the pool that you don't die if you pass out under water, I think something about because your body automatically stops breathing or something. but wouldn't you suffocate then? Idk just a random question on my mind, what happens if you pass out and say you're at the bottom of a really deep pool?

Help! Our pond is disgusting. How do we 'revive' it?

If the animals are taking a dip in the pool then they might have put a small leak in it as well. Check to see where the water line drop to and then look for a small puncture at that level all around the pond. Pond liner patches can give you a temporary fix. If you want to keep mosquitos away

Can chlorinated water cause hair loss?

Yes!The chlorinated water is used to kill bacteria and maintain hygiene levels in the pool but it strips away all the natural oils, making them drier, fragile and eventually leading to hair fall. So, before you jump in to swim, make sure you are taking necessary pre-swim and post-swim precautions.Pre-swim regimen:Oil you hair with any essential oil like coconut/olive/almond. It forms a protective layer over the scalp and prevents the chlorine from entering the hair cuticles.Wet your hair by taking a quick shower as it is less absorbent from the chlorinated water.Use swim caps to protect hair from chlorinated water.Post-swim regimen:Rinse your hair immediately after a swim and apply a good anti-chlorine shampoo on your hair. Doing this the chlorine and other harsh chemicals gets washed away easily from your hair.Apply a hair conditioner later to nourish and moisture your locks. However, if your hair fall persists for long, you should opt for an expert hair fall treatment. Although, they do not claim to fight hair fall of such nature, it would still be helpful.Livon Hair Gain is exclusively formulated to fight severe hair fall problems. It is a non-sticky tonic that penetrates deep into your hair follicles and nourishes them by repairing the root cause of your hair fall.Benefits of Livon Hair GainIt has Kopexil which infiltrates into the root and removes deposits from the hair follicle, restoring blood and nutrient supply and revitalizing the hair follicle. It has no side effects and can be used safelyIt is non-sticky hair oil and has a pleasant fragranceStill don’t believe? Can you use leaves that fall off a tree to create oxygen if you keep their stems in a small pool of water to try to prevent them from dying?

Offhand, I can’t think of any trees that can be propagated vegetatively from leaves. In other words, when leaves fall off trees they’re basically dead (think fall leaves,) or will be soon. Theoretically, a healthy leaf from a tree could live for awhile in a pool of water (interesting experiment for a school science project,) but leaves don’t have the kind of cells that allow a stem cutting, for instance, to take up water and start growing roots. Also, for photosynthesis (which is the process that produces oxygen) to continue for more than a short time, the “circulatory” system of the tree needs to be functioning - carrying minerals to the leaf cells, and removing synthesized carbohydrates.HOWEVER, even if you could keep leaves from trees alive and photosynthesizing for awhile, the amount of oxygen produced would be extremely small. How much oxygen does a tree produce?
